The bosses are all the same essentially, as they are all old mechanics. Their health ranges from 840k for mini-bosses to 1.9 million on main bosses (I'm speaking only for the Veteran versions of the current Normal Dungeons, such as "Spindleclutch I" shown below). The final bosses have 4 million health, until you read the Scroll of Glorious Battle. Since we two-manned it until that point (no mechanics were new), we could not finish it.
Of course, if your armor breaks from too many wipes, you have this to get you back to your group quickly after repairing:
On a final note, Normal Dungeons now have a difficulty around the same level of current base-game Veteran Dungeons, with some bosses gaining more health (for example, the mini-boss before Nerien'eth in Crypt of Hearts II - known currently as Veteran Crypt of Hearts - has 740k health in Normal Mode now).
And for those who are wondering how to choose which Spindleclutch to walk into, Spindleclutch I has the Whisperer, Spindleclutch II has Vorenor Winterbourne. Right now, I think the wayshrines are bugged, and only some list both wayshrines. Here's Elden Hollow's map icon, as that one is working for me:
They're not really new dungeons, just buffed up old dungeons. The mechanics did not change. I'm sure the Part 2 Dungeons are harder in Veteran mode. I've yet to test them.

I am so disappointed . I really was hoping Zos would give us some true 4 man vet dungeons . The simple fact you could duo these is a frigging joke. I don't care if your pro vmol player. I'm disgusted that for is taking the game in this direction he has completely sold the mmo genre out to a corporate churn player base. And based on the polls it's not even what the community that is active in the game and in forums wants. So don't give me it's what the player base wants. It's what's easier for zos to develop and balance

Also very pleased there is now a seperate undaunted quest giver for the DLC dungeons. That means people who wanna do vet ICP and WGT and ROM and COS can do them day after day without screwing the rest of us for gold key rotation. (Gold keys wont exist anymore but you get what I mean.)
Also love the portal. That's one of the best editions, not gonna lie.Wifeaggro13 wrote: »The bosses are all the same essentially, as they are all old mechanics. Not only that, it's more accessable which has been the name of the game for this update.
Lets set aside the forums for a moment, because we all know the ammount of people on forum is so small as to be a microcosm of the playerbase. What did you want them to do? Litterallly reinvent these dungeons? Wasn't gonna happen. Reguardless of whether or not it was the -issue-, it wasn't going to happen. But I dont think it was the issue. The issue was the old dungeons were not designed for the current scaling, and they needed to fix that. But anything else was going to take too long for the current timeframe. Dont forget. Conventions, minimal manpower, all that jazz.
At the end of the day if you want the true challenge, the new quest giver for the undaunted, Chief bane, is there. WGT, ICP, COS, ROM, is likely going to get a boost from this update, I dont see a single person who's done -those- with this update. (I suspect they'll be signifigantly harder.) And I hope they do, I hope the place for the reallly hard content, is well defined and given it's own attention.
So at the end of the day if you got disappointed it was because your expectations were too high. Sorry. I know I'm satisfied as the guy who has to pug this crap, so. You can call it churn, lowest common denominator, whatever. That dont change the fact I still see so few people looking in zone or group finder for ICP and WGT when it comes up as the gold pledge.
