It's okay. It is just kinda unfair with so many extremely nice Altmer and Dunmer npcs in the game. But to each their own.
Don't worry lots of them are indeed nice.. But they are the exception to the rule

Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

Seratopia✭✭✭✭Awesome! I think I am becoming a known annoyance to zos on eso live about a potential deer mount in the future (gotta spread that word of demand somehow). Lol. But an elk mount is acceptable in the meantime woohoo!
Looks beautiful. My altmer character will be pleased to sit upon an elk for the time being.

I'm not sure about any actual lore regarding an elk mount, but it would make sense for Bosmer to use an elk as a mount. At the very least it makes more sense for Bosmer than a horse, bear or guar (especially as guar aren't native to Valenwood...).0 -
