Group finder broken? Group being split.

Today the group finder seems more broken than ever (it does this occasionally but today it's been every time).
My two friends and I have been queuing for dungeons but sometimes it'll put us in a 5 person group or one of us will be removed from the group upon finding a player.
It's really frustrating. Is this a known issue and one they are planning to fix?
