ZoS - Why do you boot people from dungeons right away when people disband ?

Doing a lot of quest dungeon runs with an alt lately. Basically I need to beg people to stay in group so I can listen to the dialogue of the dungeon. Otherwise the group disbands, and I can't even hear the full dialogue and have to click through text to get the reward.

Can you please put a longer timer on the auto eject from group dungeons? It simply makes no sense to kick someone before they can listen to the dialogue and accept the reward.

    It's certainly strange given you can go in solo.

    It's because, in the past before this mechanic if you got a troll or unhappy camper in your group, that ended up needing to be booted, they could stay in dungeon and troll your group big time. Training mobs into the group, and not allowing a fourth member to port in. Also the old dungeon chest mechanic only allowed for one person to loot a treasure chest. People were joining groups to get in a dungeon, then dropping, staying out of combat and stealing every chest.

    Yeah none of those issues require you to auto-boot someone immediately. If someone gets kicked from group ZoS can remove them immediately since there is a flag for it now.

    I think personally that there's a larger issue with dungeons that hasn't been shared around these instances.
    @ZOS_GinaBruno it might be worth adding this topic to an ESO Live shows or at least a QnA on the exact question of why players are booted from dungeons.

    I understand that only 4 players can be in one group dungeon instance however, given the requirements some other opportunities should exist to complete the quests and speak to NPCs.

    Have you all considered moving the player to a solo instance of that dungeon at the specific points of interest vs booting them entirely? Seems simple as we can enter dungeons solo and most often players just want to interact with NPCs and not reset mobs to kill and clear. (Just thinking and offering a logical suggestion)

    If you are on PC/NA come join 'Friendly Dungeon Runners' we currently have 54 members. I haven't seen or heard anyone getting disband yet. We have new players, advanced players and of course confused players ( me ). :)

    I personally don't have a problem with someone listening to the dialogue, as long as you let everyone know up front I don't see how it could be an issue.

    In my opinion it's fine. It's quite easy to prevent the auto kick when you want to complete the story or explore the empty dungeon a bit more, you just need to ask one person to stay in group with you (they don't have to stay in the dungeon and as far as I know can even log off).
    In the past before they added the fast kick timers, there have been many issues. It happened to me numerous times, that I joined a random dungeon group, that was stuck mid dungeon, but couldn't port to them because their former member didn't leave the instance. Same issue when people crashed, couldn't get back on and had to be replaced.
    Additionally reforming groups if you want to run a dungeon / trial again is now much faster and doesn't bug out anymore.

    @Khaos_Bane and what flag is that? The game does not differentiate between someone who was kicked and someone in a group that disbanded.
