With so many rules in place it's probably better just go for naked fist fights.

Would you like to fight against Malubeth or Immov pots or poisons?
Since they are part of the game, sure.

See now this is a naive attitude. Just because it's part of the game does not mean it's balanced or fair to fight with or against. To believe so is to believe ZOS and the developers are infallible.
The real naive attitude is thinking that ruling out certain gear and/or items will suddenly make ESO a balanced and fair game.

    Nontheless, have fun!

I never said it would result in perfect balance. It will, however, result in better balance than if they were all allowed.
So in the end, it's still a mess :\

    Welcome to ESO.

Edit: the funny part is that Black Rose is more of a problem right now than any of the banned sets, but we have no way to enforce a ban against it since BR can't be detected by other players.

I tried out all the other heavy armor sets in place of Blackrose. Heavy armor isnt the problem. Blackrose is

That is what we suspected. The tournament is not likely to happen. I'm going to be focusing on organizing battlegrounds for people instead. Get a 5-7 man EP group together if you'd like to be part of a showcase event to show the community what player-made battlegrounds look like.
