ZOS could you please increase the drop rate of mats and tempers for deconstruction?

Dear Zos,

would it be possible to increase the drop rate of materials (especially high level ones) and tempers (especially gold ones) for deconstruction?

High level mats are so expensive and we need so many to craft a high level gear, but when deconstructing, we only get like 1 or two materials and the RNG for gold temper drops is also very low.

Could the drop rate be increased, so that we at least get 10 or 15 materials from decon and gold tempers more often?

yes lets make a thread that is in no way time sensitive or game-breaking then tag every mod we can think of. I agree with you that eso is far too casual for the cost of golding gear but come now lets try to create this in a way its reasonably plausible to orchestrate this without an economic collapse.

How would you initiate this change without people losing half there net worth?
How would you announce it in a way that is more suited to crafters then non? (perk?)
Would you incorporate other aspects into it such as higher drop rate on dailies or mats as pledge rewards etc.

There are ways to think this through that may gain some attention but the phrase "this is bad all ye mods come look at it and fix it" isnt it.

Farm alchemy mats for a day. Good set paid for. Problem solved.

I could agree with the increased mats, but not tempers

I'm a crafter and I've helped gear most of my guild (About 10 players) in multiple sets of Max CP Legendary gear. This includes harvesting extra mats to sell in order to buy items which were drop only when needed and when playing actively with a trading guild, would have sales of 200,000 to 400,000 per week.

The economy has become well balanced around the material supply for both consumables and mats for crafted gear and I am adamantly opposed to making any of these materials more easily attained.

If a max CP player wants to remake fully a crafted set of gear or upgrade a dropped set due to change in build, or any other reason it should take an investment (in time gathering or gold) to do so and there are so many avenues at the moment to do so quickly and easily .

In my opinion, someone who doesn't want to put in the little effort required doesn't deserve to have the best possible gear. Any single player by themselves, can run around craglorn, gather mats (including Nirn) and sell everything after refining and afford a set in a day. Running around hollow city gathering herbs and selling for a day gets them their set. Run imperial city and trade stones for mats, etc, etc, etc.

It's okay to have something to work towards as well, even if you have limited game time.

On a side note, I would also be fine with CP 170 gear requiring even more mats. However I don't think 10x would be appropriate.

Even for me (non-subscriber/dlcs, no access to high lvl mats areas) the drop rate is more than sufficient and I don't need better.
When playing a lot even only base game I have enough gold to buy those high lvl mats or tempers in guild stores.
For example I can grind rubedo in Wayrest Sewers but it's a long and annoying proces. So I prefer farming herbs and all raw mats I can find, especially in depopulated areas, like early in the morning in Coldharbour :). Sell them all within minutes in Rawl'kha store, then I can afford any rarest mats or tempers. It's really simple, just needs some planning and time for game, not increasing drop rate :).

I would not be opposed to getting more mats from deconstucting, but only the base level mats such as Rubedite, Rubedo, or Ancestor silk. You get more than one piece of Void Cloth, Void Stone ingots, etc. from deconstructing those armor/weapon items, so why not the higher level mats as well? I think the gold level mats are fine where they are now so see no real reason to increase those yet.

Expect the drops to be reduced more next update and then miraculously appear in the Crown Crates, they are consumables after all.

I'm fine with the rate for "Deconstruction", but the rate for "Extraction" in Enchanting needs reviewed. I've extracted like half a dozen glyphs in a row and not gotten a SINGLE RUNE from them, and some were Glyphs given by Writs! This is with Rank 3 Runestone Extraction by the way.

At least Protean Runestones give Kutas though.
