About the costumes ....

When will there be GOOD ones.
Lately they've all been ugly and gross...
How do you feel about the recent costumes?
Do you like them or hate them?
They all just disgust me...

If Zeni gets money from them then they don't seem to really care about the quality of their work. The Breton Hero Costume has to be one of the best examples of Zeni being flat out lazy and just expecting people to buy it anyway.

I'm wondering what will be in the September showcase. Maybe that imperial costume that was data-mined?

I'm still debating whether or not to buy the shaman costume. I don't really like that the dye doesn't stick to the skirt.

We need more armor costumes, not casual clothing, if i'm in a war, i'm not gonna wear a dress or shirt.
It's ruining my immersion!

See it as illusion magic - these costumes are not really worn, it just appears as if they are worn - but in fact the one is still wearing his/her normal armor. You can even hear that it is still the normal armor. A costume is not a real thing, it is summoned illusion magic and even if you dye it, that is just an illusion, you don't really do it.

See it like that and it is no longer immersion breaking.

I don't like the majority of costumes they've brought out, but that's fine with me. I've got a few I like and if I had more I'd probably never get to use them all.

I've always seen costumes as an alternative to armor. It seems unrealistic to me to wear armour all the time. In the previous TES games I pick up some regular clothes to wear in towns and non-combat situations. In ESO I use costumes because they don't take up inventory space.

Hmm.. I actually like the Covenant hero costume especially using my choice of colors. I guess to each their own.

I like crafted sets best for looking good . There's a couple ingame costumes that look nice . Thieves guild has two , Dark Brotherhood has one . Many disguises look really good too .
