I want to change from disc to digital version

I bought the PlayStation 4 version on disc, but it is annoying to keep moving the disc between my two consoles, so I was thinking about buying the digital version instead, and probably Imperial instead of regular.
Should I first uninstall the disc version from the PS4 before I download and log on so nothing weird happens?

I will delete the game tonight (want to play today), but I am a bit nervous that something went wrong and I still need the disc in that room

✭✭✭You can only activate ONE PS4 per account as your primary PS4.
Therefore, bought digital versions will only be available on one PS4 (the primary):

Therefore, you still need the disk on the other PS4.

happymaarit✭✭✭I think you might be wrong @BalticBlues, FF XIV works on both and am downloading ESO now on the other one.
I deleted the game and my save, went to the store and the button said "Download" instead of "Buy".
And I have been playing on both until now, just got tired of moving the disc between rooms
