I only had to do it once. But thing is when we did the boss, it was killed I was dead on the floor, though but then ad wiped out the group I was in, I guess the group leader kicked several of us out because we did not use team speak, so I made my way back to the middle alone, died where the boss fell, but the body was not there and this was ten minutes later but hte body spawned instantly after I died when a mob killed me, because I was running from it. Another dc player was near by rezed me I opened up the corpse of Molag bal and there it was the soul shriven skin.

So I was very lucky, and the irony is the group leader that kicked me possibly never got it. So I was very lucky, to get it.I am guessing the body will remain until you get the drop if you return even ten minutes later so basically I got very lucky. But I know others have ran it a hundred times and not gotten it. Its possible the drop rate is bugged or only one player in the group gets to receive it I don't know how it works but yeah they are increasing the drop rate so you might be able to get it with the imperial city anniversary

Well it depends on how often the sewer middle event is ran and how many go and do it. The skin is also a very rare drop one might have a chance to get which I was very very lucky in getting so basically not many in the player base would have the skin. I guess they don't want everyone to have it but basically as an rper it allows me to rp a soul shriven. But basically I hope to add mind shriven skin as well to the collection. Soul Shriven is the only skin I have unlocked.

I know its been bugged on consoles but on pc possibly not. But still its a very rare rng drop and I guess it depends on the character your running with. You might get better luck if your running a certain character. Maybe a bosmer, I don't know but yeah the rng can be tricky possibly a luck value of getting something rare. Some characters it might be very low while others very high. So basically try it with other characters and it might drop.
I play on the pc version so basically I think more players have it on pc have it then on consoles but maybe I am wrong.

I farmed with a group a few weeks back, and one first-timer got the skin on our third Bal kill.

Irony, they're doubling the drop rate of the skin for the Imperial City event on August 29th. Anybody know what 0 x 2 is?

It might be their "first 10 runs" on that day. Do not take other's word easily

People who got it might tell you they got it easily due to

1) to "encourage / give hope" to you so you can keep grinding
2) to brag and show their "perfect luck" "favored by the RNGesus"

I got my soul-shriven skin on the 5th or 6th run one day but in total I might have farmed for more than 100 times. Guess what? I am still considered being "lucky" as my dedicated "Molag Bal Sewer Farming Group Members" usually spends 200-300 runs to get a skin dropped. After I got the skin I always tell others "it is easy, I got it in my 5th run and you just need to keep going" to get their hope up.

The reason you have not seen others get any might be the fact that people who got the skin immediately left so the farming group is always full of desperate players who are not happy with the drop rate. In the end people are not happy and might believe the drop rate is bugged. Keep going and try your luck next week and you will eventually get it!

I got mine right back when IC dropped, no idea how many runs I did as it was so long ago now.

Probably 75 runs or so and no skin.

Last week I got the scamp for the first time and he dropped 3x in a row for me! Wtf!?

In 1 run a group member got the skin. Only time I have seen it drop

I think it's especially a problem that needs to be looked into on console.

I can understand if it's bugged, and it cannot be fixed until the next incremental patch. I don't think it's fair, however, to market the IC anniversary event as having a doubled drop rate of an item that is impossible to get.

About 30-40 times. Got the scamp on my first try. A couple of Hakeijos here and there. No skin.

Edit: nobody in my group in any of those runs got the skin either, as far as I know. (Nobody announced it at least)

@ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Can we have this looked into before the IC Anniversary Event? I know it's short notice, but we received notice of the event only yesterday.

I've ran it hundreds of times and tonight one of the guys I always run it with got it (on our 5th run).

@raidentenshu_ESO Do you have none of the DLCs? There's a bundle that will be releasing around October for 5500 crowns that will include the first four DLCs (wrothgar, IC, thieves guild, and dark brotherhood).

I find it a bit of a scam on ZOSs part to try to get people to buy the IC bundle in the upcoming event and then try to get more money out of them for that bundle. I can imagine a scenario where someone might have ONLY the IC bundle b/c they got it at this event, and then they have to decide whether to buy the 5500 crown bundle later that includes IC b/c they want the other three DLCs.
