How do you feel when you change from PvE to PvP? And do you behave the same?

Hi all,

I'd like to know how you feel and behave when you change from PvE area to PvP zone.

One:

Is it the same for you or you have different feelings, sensations and perceptions of environment and people? Whatever it is, from more or less confident to sensations of success or failure doing stuff.

Do you feel the same way when you are in a group doing trials in PvE and when you are in a zerg in PvP?

Two:

Do you feel you are the same player and behave the same way in PvE and in PvP, and think the others behave the same?

Do you think people treat people the same way in PvE and in PvP?

Do you care and tolerate the same regardless you are in PvE or in PvP?

Thanks.

Very strange question. I think I behave pretty much the same across the board. Though I do get more frustrated when I die in VMA than if I die in Cyro....

PVE is predictable so it's comfortable

PVP is unpredictable and I always feel like someone's watching me O_O;; lol

I play pretty much the same but it's definitely fun getting that kill against another player. Specially the ones that like their "tea"

I'd say the biggest difference in my behavior between PVP and PVE is that in PVE I never attack other players :D

Seriously, though, I spend a lot more time being sneaky and cautious in PVP. In PVE I generally just brute force my way through everything (aside from TG and DB content). In PVP I try to avoid any combat with mobs unless I'm fairly confident there aren't enemy players in the area, and I try to avoid being seen by enemy players unless I'm confident that my side isn't outnumbered by theirs. If I was actually any good at PVP I'd probably be less cautious and less reluctant to get into fights where I'm outnumbered.

It's pretty much the same except in PvP there are more targets and tougher "bosses".

No way. I teabag every single mob I kill in PvE. Pisses off my dungeon group members, but they are just going to have to wait. Cause you haven't lived until you've teabagged 43 mubcrabs in a row.

I'm actually friendlier to randoms in PvP honestly. I talk more because I'm having fun while being in random trials groups is just boring and tedious and I keep quiet and get the work done.

If I'm playing with friends it isn't as big of a difference.

I only go to Cyrodil if I need to be there for Shards, Vigor, Purge, Warhorn, and Barrier.

This colors my attitude and behavior in the sense that I'm in a hurry to get what I need and get the hell out. I look after the reason I came and not much else, I learned the first time there that even the players in your own alliance aren't your friends when the group leaders were trying to send us noobs off to push resources to keep us from getting the defense ticks.

So I spam ineffectual heals on a stamina character, kill a delve boss every time the buff runs out, repair anything that isn't moving, fire arrows and siege into zergs, never miss a D-tick, and anything else that will get it over with. It's a hamster wheel I simply don't understand, I can't think of anything more boring than spending most of the night going back and forth across Alessia Bridge between Sejanus and Alessia or AP farming some resource tower, but to each their own.

In ESO, PVE feels like just another mostly solo guided tour. I often PVE while I watch sports on TV. Baseball is especially good for this :)

PVP feels like unpredictable group play with friends where I lose track of time.

Keep things civil when in Cyrodiil. Do not have the energy or the desire to get upset over being killed by an enemy player. Nor do I care if a player decided to abuse me or teabag me for that matter.

I get VERY upset when it comes to Competitive Multiplayer, especially when I'm not even trying to PvP. I wen't into Azura's to go do the Dailies in Cheydinhal. Absolutely no population on a Pact dominated Campaign, so I figured not only am I pretty safe but I don't need to worry about other players. Since the Pact has the whole map locked down, Blues and Yellows wouldn't bother making the trek all the way over here, right?

Talking to one of the givers I get ganked by a Level 10 Covenant Sorc. This irks me. I ride back, sneak, see him, try to gank back, and he wrecks me. Now I'm upset. I change characters so now I'm on my Level 50 Templar, ride back, wait, and wait, eventually he shows back up. I try to gank him, SOMEHOW I still lost, and by now I'm getting furious. Blood is in my eyes. I'm holding a personal grudge. I ride back one more time and wait, and wait. Finally he comes by one more time but I wait and watch. He goes into the river and then is just letting the Imperial Mobs get him, probably cause he's done and just wants to get back home the quick way. So I come on over and Jesus Beam my revenge.

It didn't make me feel any better.

I feel like, why do I have to do this on every character? It's a pain, and just for the record, I'm not just talking about the Alliance skill line. Undaunted as well. They should both be account wide unlocks. PvP mains shouldn't have to PvE, and PvE mains shouldn't have to PvP just to unlock skills.
