Are the zergers salty you can't use the excuse "this game is made for group play" after update 12?

With the addition of dueling, when people call for class balance and what not the zerglings who have no idea what balance is because they don't even run heals on their bar won't be able to say PvP is intended for "group play". I for one am very excited about this so when balance issues are brought up we have a legitimate retort to these trolls!

    Anyone who doesn't slot some form of a heal in PVP isn't going to last long enough to really matter whether they are in a group or not. Those players don't belong in PVP, they belong in PVE land where they can keep spamming LF HEALER.....

    I've repaired keep walls and resource towers with kits bought for gold in order to rank up to the point I could unlock vigor because Dragon Blood is really weak and I was just a punching bag with that skill slotted. The campaign where I play has very low population and 1 vs.1 or maximum 8 vs.8 is what you actually get to play. Now I can't even imagine playing without vigor, even in some PvE settings. Ingenous shields + Rally + Resolving Vigor = win

    Hey, I'm a Templar and I don't use Breath of Life, I spam Vigor constantly ;)

    Honestly I don't think dueling is going to affect the zergs in Cyrodiil much if at all. You'll still need groups of people to take keeps, outposts, resources, and that damn bridge north of Alissa. Dueling will just be a nice add on for PvP, and bragging rights.

    No, I'm ascerting PvP in the game is now longer made for group play with the addition of dueling outside of cyrodiil.

    dueling != pvp. They added dueling because people kept requesting it. In fact for a long time they specifically said they didn't want dueling because AvAvA is the pvp, not 1v1.

    also, you realize that it will have 0 bearing on this game in any way right? It gives you nothing, you can turn it off and have auto-deny on, so where again is there any balancing ideas surrounding this?
    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    Things will never be perfectly balanced 1v1 and they should stay that way.

    Every strong spec has it counter!

    balance will be made around 3v3 and 5v5 battlegrounds.

    The only thing I don't like in PvP right now is the incessant whining and ego that goes on in zone chat. Everyone is such a know-it-all, even when they are completely wrong. The hostility is huge, and people don't just go out and fight to win and have fun. Its all about stupid AP grind for a lot of people. I like playing it solo or small groups a lot of times, but the one thing nice about having a large guild that is working well together is that it avoids a lot of this BS.

What it will effect is popular towns where people gather to bank, socialize, etc. will have to put up with duels, constant challenges (I really hope there will be an "ignore duel requests" setting) and some of the wonderful poisonous chatter that infests PvP

    Basically you can thoroughly test abilities against a player. This will increase minmaxers since they will get practical evidence of their builds instead of estimates and random variables.

    i'm glad duelling in PvE is coming around with One Tamriel, now we might see less time wasters in Cyrodiil duelling at resources and more people helping the cause while the duellers get uninterrupted duels. everyone wins except zergs

    What about all those players who only go to Cyrodiil because it's the only place they can duel other players? oh yes it's not going to change gameplay in Cyrodiil, not at all...

    All I hope for is that duelers get instanced into an arena instead of spells/ultimates flying within towns.

    Game lags/crashes enough as is without everyone and their mothers getting into a duel frenzy in Mournhold
