Vicious Ophidian is scaled to 160 in SO trials. Does it drop 160 in normal? Vet? Or both?

It can drop CP160 in both normal and vet, yes. As I recall, Finn stated that the loot table VO drops in has a 20% chance on Normal, 80% on Vet.

Normal Loot Table: Viper, Skirmisher, Shadow Dancer, Elegant
Vet Loot Table: Aether, Vicious Ophidian, Eternal Yokedan

Very insightful tyvm. As BoP is now trade-able in group dungeon I dont mind the drop %s though. I got stupid amounts of gold. In game pay to win time! Jks aside, thank you everyone above for quick answers

people are just cheesing nSO to farm CP160 sets...they take a level 45-49 with them and scale the trial to that (yes scaling a Trial to a low level...it sounds stupid I know) as all the drops you get are at your level...so if you go as a CP160 you will get the gear right for you

you rip through nSO in minutes as everything is easy kill...rinse and repeat

working as intended...now then bring on AA, Hel Ra and DSA and lets see it all happen again this week

Ah true that will make the 2 armor parts easier. Got to do hms vets for gold rings and neck though i guess.

Good luck

They have buffed serpent on HM so it might be a little bit tougher to farm now, although it shouldnt trouble the elite groups.

Yep haha I went to help out a friends guild who was stuck in there for 6hrs at ozara, we made past it and turn out these guys only wanted their title.. so we went with non-HM and I left with a purple ring of shadow dancer

Yep haha I went to help out a friends guild who was stuck in there for 6hrs at ozara, we made past it and turn out these guys only wanted their title.. so we went with non-HM and I left with a purple ring of shadow dancer

Oh and a score of 105 which was my lowest score EVER in trials

Only gold rings. Purple VO rings and neck drop on vet non hard mode.

Not going to pretend that like vMAW is my daily lol but the "hard" content is never hard... I am already close to being called a "elitest" just by saying some content is easy that others consider hard so going to shut up...

Gold jewelry comes from vet HM.

The gear armor can also drop from trash mobs in SO as well.

Just do it on normal cp160. The only difference is the boss fights last a little longer. None of the mechanics matter. Doing it on 45 is unnecessary and a waste of time.

I thought only the coffer at the end scaled to your level and everything else that dropped was scaled to leader (like in MOL)?

20% drop chance on normal for VO jewelry? I don´t believe that. I did sanctum the last 5 days like 20x (hel ra like 20 times too) and got only 1 ring, from Hel ra. Some of my group didn´t even got one piece of VO jewelry.

And the Minor Slayer is currently broken, atleast on PS4.
Also you dont need to do Vet HM to get gold jewelry. You get 1 piece for Vet and 2 piece on Vet HM(1 BoP and 1 BoE)

drop chancd is much lower tha that. it's 20% chance to get any bop drop set. realistically for vo it's like 5%. from what I've seen on vet everythong is about the same. same 5% drol chance, same stupid 100% prosperous. I've run vet ~30x now it's just not worth it except for hm.

Just do it on normal cp160. The only difference is the boss fights last a little longer. None of the mechanics matter. Doing it on 45 is unnecessary and a waste of time.

your argument is counter-intuitive. Since the adds have far, far more health and you need more people. wheras at lvl 45 you could easilly clear the raid in <10 min. Thus, saving a lot of time. Which is kimd of the point with such an abymal, hateful rng system.

at .2% chance tp get any vo piece in divines the concept of farming gear is a joke, any secomd you can save is a plus.

Your best bet is to farm normal at lvl 4t for body pieces and vet hardmode for jewelry. Bring some cash incase one of your teamates gets lucky, maybe they'll sell it.
