Since we heard the news that Craglorn its going to be redone to be more (sadly) solo friendly,I would like ZOS to consider this:Can we have Shada's Tears made into a full 4 man group dungeon?

Shada's Tears is one of the most fun and well designed dungeons in my opinion.It was challenging (when it was equal to the level cap long time ago) it is big and has some very fun boss mechanics.Now I assume its going to be easier than it was after it fell behind lvl cap.

Making it 4 man dungeon make sense since almost all zones has a 4 man group dungeon.Shada's Tears can be Craglorn's 4 man dungeon.And there we have a win for solo players since they will have almost the whole zone solo friendly while people who like to do 4 man content will have an awesome fun new 4 man dungeon.

    Not a bad idea at all in fact. And monster helmet could be a Nereid's Cowl :D Does a fun water spout mechanic (think Nerieneth lich crystal but a water or ice pillar instead) or freezing aoe thingie

    Yeah I remember there being some pretty cool instances in Craglorn, I hope they give us incentive to revisit them !

    It would be nice if the large craglon dungeons keep for 4 man and get buffed to todays dps meter. They should also buff the old vet dungeons, its a joke running spindelchluch or my absolut fafourit, damage break at vcoh hm to wait for 4 ghosts. ( i,am not a progress player)

    Yes! Shada's Tears was my first dungeon as a healer, a great experience. Would be awesome to have this in the undaunted pledges!
    Once I was a healer. Then I took a Wrobel to the knee.

    i agree i have been saying this for 2 years now. Easily the best dungeon in game full three wings and shada was probably the hardest four man fight in game for quite a long tim . only to drop a standard purple and a soul gem lol

    It'd be nice if they made the weird gem-summoned boss and the chest it spawns right outside Shada's worthwhile, too.

    95% agree. The other 5% is I think they should give several other craglorn instances the same treatment. Pretty much all of the Craglorn group instances are dungeon worthy. The only two that don't really work are skyreach hold and spellscar. Skyreach pinnacle and skyreach catacombs are amazing, as are the rhani za sword school and whichever ones I am forgetting.

    Shadas Tear is an awesome dungeon experience. Too bad most players nowadays will never get the chance to experience it. Or, when they do run it, they'll blast through it so quickly with high DPS that they won't get to enjoy it (it was designed long before the CP system, and the CP system doubled everyone's DPS).

    I'd add that they need to add it/them (Shada's and other instances) to the pledge rotation!

    If they are redesigning the zone to be more like other zones then I expect something like this to be done anyway including adding world bosses to the map and a group dungeon! We'll know in a few weeks I guess when it hits PTS! :)

    It is a 4-man dungeon. It also has a daily quest.

    If they scale the difficulty again and make the daily quest rewards worth it, I don't see the need for it to be added to the Undaunted pledges. I think some things should stand on their own.

    It is a super fun dungeon, though. As is the Rahni-Za School of Warriors.

    Totally agree.Letting those dungeons become 1 player dungeons feels like a waste of potential for some good group play.

    Yeah that too.Tho I think they will just need to add the world boss skull icon to the map since Crag and Upper Crag already has many world bosses around,specially Upper Crag.

    Given that this thread is almost a year old, I'd say the chances of ZoS doing something else in Craglorn they won't be able to sell are 0%.

    Oh get over it, the zone failed twice as group content and we all know it's because people dont like questing together. This is the logical conclusion for it. God forbid any ground be given to the scapegoat of the filthy casuals.

    However, I do think there's potential for good dungeons from these, but I very much doubt they'd truss it up to do so. It'd be too much effort for 'old content''.

    When are they making it solo friendly? I've seen some old news on the subject, but nothing recent.

    they changed it so the main quest doesn't require a group. It use to be that you had to have 4 player for the main quest
