why the red border when harvesting?

Never understood his, why the red border comes up like ur taking damage. The amount of times I've backed out just in case

Different colour perhaps??

Yeah I get us @UltimaJoe777 that's my whole point. I can be solo, it in a group, peacefully in the middle of nowhere and the border is red. I can still harvest thus not in combat, but get the red so often flick out of it just in case.

I noticed last night ( it I was in a group) its also when I pick chest locks

I'll open Case in case it's a bug, but seems other people know what im talking about too

I have no idea what you're talking about. I disabled the border on enemies though. Never seen it while harvesting.

Sounds like a bug. The rest of us don't get a red border on harvesting. Are you sure you didn't move through a crowd of enemies to get to the node?

Really??? Seriously, like every time. For months, as long as I can remember. Are you Xbox One?

No border change at all when you pickup a herb or clothing mat etc??

I get it on occasion, and I'm on the PS4. I think it pops up if you've just gotten out of a fight, or there's a fight nearby, and are harvesting a node.

If you are in a group and a member of the group gets involved in a fight it will also go to red borders.

I'm pretty certain I get it constantly and I'm often on solo. But ill study some more!! Thanks for the ideas guys

I also get it while looking at my inventory or skills. Sometimes lasting half an hour or more. Xbox one BTW. Not in a group, near a fight, didn't just get out of one either.

Yes it does. I doubt I've kept aggro for half an hour or more or while in a city or after going through a wayshrine or two though.

A half hour lol?, maybe it was a Spriggon. Those guys really hold a grudge.

The red border is a in-combat indicator and does not necessarily mean you took or are taking damage. In fact, taking damage cancels your harvest attempt and prevents any more for several seconds.

Also sometimes the indicator glitches out and never goes away even though you are technically NOT in combat.
