Yeh, a huge difference.

For pve dps as stam, dual wield and bow is what you use.

Suppose a good question would be what do you prefer? Two-handed and Bow is a viable option as well. I currently run Two-handed and Bow with Viper and Red Mountain sets and put out excellent dps, the build also survives quite well with the Brawler ability.

Not really. You can get around 30k sustained Trial DPS max with 2H/Bow. DW/Bow clocks around 55k sustained DPS max, which is nearly double.

The key factor in this discussion is whether OP is asking for pvp or pve. Usually the term dps automatically qualifies the question for pve. For pve, the difference between 2H/bow and DW/bow is night and day; DW surpasses 2H by a long shot.

The biggest difference is maelstrom weapons. Cruel flurry does too much to give up and the vma two handed is useless in pve because crit charge is almost never used and especially not for group content.
