Does Kvatch Gladiator work well with a Stam Sorc using Overload?

I'm new to Sorc, so I wasn't sure, but in theory it seems like a good way to turn the ultimate into an OP execute.

Yes but Elegance is even better since it gives +20% all the time. I'm not even sure how much extra % damage Kvatch gives but I do know it only kicks in when the enemy is below 25% health.

After testing in Old Orsinium, I can say for certain that it works on your Overload weapon bar, and in my case, it increased my light attacks by roughly 33% while in execute range: from ~128000 to ~17K.

But as a Stam Sorc, elegance wouldn't really help me. KG adds around 1800 weapon damage to light and heavy attacks.

I don't know what skills a Stamina Sorcerer uses but, being stamina, wouldn't be better to go fo the meta, Vicious Ophidian and Twice-Born Star?

Maybe. I'm leveling him up currently, and trying to gear him for PVP for the Caltrop/Vigor grind. Kind of just looking for something different to test along the way.

My major problem with KG would be the loss of utility while not in overload and not in execute range. Seems like too narrow a benefit to give up your crafted 5-piece on. You could have 300 WD or 2.2k penetration or two mundus stones in its place. Sure, you might be boss during those last 25% but I think you would have to make too many sacrifices overall.

I'm running Alchemist with it, so I'm kind of going for PVP burst. Like I said, this isn't for endgame, I was just wondering if anybody had tested the set with an Overload Stam Sorc.

I am wearing 5 piece hundings 5piece kvatch on my stam sorc and I am doing 15k heavy attacks with 20k executioner right after that. Yout get an extra 1700 weapon damage on anyone under 25%, and with 4k weapon damage, that really is one heavy/flurry cancel.

Have you tried it with Overload? I'm getting 14K per light attack in scaled zones unbuffed currently, so I was wondering how much this would increase that.

does not work for me because my weapon completes the 5 piece. It may work though if you have all 5 pieces on your body.

here is my stats right now. I don't have the 6% undaunted nor a morphed dawnbreaker nor the final passive in dual wield, so I believe I will be around 4650 weapon damage when I'm done.

I'd heard that weapon set bonuses count on your overload bar—just not enchantments and other weapon effects. Is that not the case?

Didn't work for me, my overload damage does not change when they get into execute, but don't forget, isn't overload based off of spell damage anyway? Kvatch gives weapon damage

Not sure but it's critting for 28K on my stam sorc with around 1000 spell damage and 12K magic, so it definitely seems to scale to which ever is higher, like all Ultimates.
