So it’s my fault the server is having problems, you see this is my only whole week I have off to play video games this summer as my doctorate program starts again next week and my two jobs also start next week…
Monday I got up at 9am (got to sleep in) and the ESO server was down… Ok it will only be for a few hours I thought… 4:00pm the servers come back on line as soon as the wife gets home… and I go take my kids to soccer practice... darn
Tuesday got up at 9am log on to ESO and I can’t access my main who is stuck in Coldharbour (EP), it’s a known issue as the forums claim, but no access to him (I should never have logged him off in Coldharbour) I apologize to all the people who used that zone because it is clearly my fault… So I decide to play on my alts, but in Stonefalls (my home base) the ping is so high I can’t even move out of the bank and finish anything without getting kicked to the login screen. I apologize to all the people in Stonefalls because again it’s my fault that the ping is so bad…
So I decide to play my DC alt as you now know my EP chars are stuck in Stonefalls and my main is stuck in Coldharbour… and I take my DC alt to Wrothgar to work on the quest cycle in that zone and I guess that was a big mistake because I broke Wrothgar for the DC people just like Stonefalls.
So lets play my only AD char, hes only 40 though so I better just jump on some PvP and oh no I broke Craglorn as well!! Oh who am I kidding Craglorn is always laggy…
At 11pm last night I got access to my main in Coldharbour and zoned into Rawk to check some of my items in the bank and boom lag spikes and right to login screen.
Wednesday morning and hopes of early morning patches to fix the “known issues” log on into Stonefalls, exit the bank door and boom lag, try to get to the writ board and get kicked to the login screen.
So I can only conclude that it’s my fault the sever is broken you all will be able to play again on Saturday when I am gone for my only summer weekend break with the wife and kids… your welcome.
