Like the title says. How is the PS4 performance? Has it gotten any better?
Tried playing a couple months ago and I found it very laggy.... Espescially in pvp. Have they improved it yet? Same with the long loading screens and slow loading of npc and players.
This game was really fun and I would like to play it again but I just can't handle the lag in pvp and the long load times.

This is a little bit subjective. How well the game does also depends on your internet connection, or if its wired/wireless. Plus how far are you from the servers.slow loading of npc and players.

Now if you're talking about Scourge, when blues/reds/yellow stack up en mass numbers, you will definitely see lag. If you're playing small scale in a campaign like Chillrend or Skull of Corruption, you probably won't encounter very much lag. It's just when you see well over 70+ of any faction running around a keep is when the lag starts to become a thing. Doesn't matter the campaign.
Only thing I am really seeing is long load screens after engaging in large fights. Sometimes crashing too.
But I am running off of a hardwired connection though. So take it for what it is.0 -

✭✭Usually lagging in PVP once you get to 20 + people in a fight and going through the the breech 'en masse' where there might be 50 or more people is really pot luck on weather you can survive the lag. I don't know if this is the same across all platforms but suspect it might be the case.
Outside of PVP I only really see long load times when going to main cities or in peak times. Slow loading of NPC's has improved a lot since the last patch.Australian on PS4 NA server.

However...,
• There is a new crashing issue in trials and is especially prevalent in vMoL.
• There is a serious grouping issue that happens almost every time you try to group up which is both annoying and hard to detect. Usually need to relog 2-3 times a day because of the new issue.
Performance-wise (FPS, stutters, NPCs & stuff loading, etc) the game is much, much better

lag will never go away in cyrodiil
de-synced deaths are all the rage, the cool kids love it
light attacking is broken
abilities sometimes just don't work and you end up doing a funny little dance
just don't do any trials and you will be fine
monsters now animations cancel
dont use minor aegis or minor slayer, it doesn't work
stay away from group finder
the major breaks are coming in the next update when all the PTS bugs and glitches make it in the console version, again because ZOS have learned this after 15 months
