Subbed in June Not Knowing RNG Boxes Coming, Can I Get Full Refund??

I subbed for 180 days in June. At that time if I had known RNG boxes were coming I would not only have not subscribed ESO+, but I would also have deleted and left the game for good. Now, to my surprise, they decided to add RNG boxes to the game despite the fact that they have promised they have no such plan. Therefore, for me personally, the game will soon become a product, on principle, totally different from the product that I have subscribed to. Can I get full refund for the 180 day subscription fee I have paid??

mad0ni0n✭✭✭I don't know what you hope to achieve by making this post, why do you think we would know if you can get a refund? Of course, common sense dictates that you cannot but you need to raise a ticket with support for this issue.

✭IT is a valid point, however, in almost ALL ToS it gives them freedom to change the game as they see fit with no recompense to the User who submitted (I'm sure you read that in the ToS
)
At there discretion they can offer a refund, but it is at their discretion and can cause a dangerous precedent if not done correctly that can leave them exposed legally.
I would suggest a very well worded, informative and structured email to Gina and see if anything can be done

Don't purchase them. There is no reason to get all worked up. Unless someone has a gambling problem, this should not affect them. Just saying.4 -

This was 1 year ago, their business model can change, and most companies adapt to increase revenue.
If this is your only problem then I fear a bit of growing up may be involved.10 -

✭First of all that is not a promise. Second that was a year ago and things change and at that time it was true. Third Gina was an assistant manager and is now a manager. She has no say whatsoever in this decision. She was told it will happen. For me I could not care less it has no impact on my game play its cosmetic stuff and useless. I still have and use my one gold imperial horse on 11 toons. Btw this decision has nooooooooo impact on your game play. This game is fun for you and me but this is and always will be a business. Business's need money to survive and more money to grow. Grow up or leave which also as you might guess has nooooooo impact on my game play. When those boxes come they will fly out of the crown store why... For every cry baby there are a thousand ppl who want to gamble. The Reddit post is from a year ago. A lot of change can happen in a year. And Gina may not be in the best position to know what zos is planning. Many companies compartmentalize information, revealing it only when they are ready. That post is likely based on what Gina knew at the time. If she could, she might say RNGboxes are a surprise to her as well.
As for a refund, doesn't seem likely. But the addition of RNGboxes will affect my decision on whether to ever renew my sub.
