Very long loading screens since patch?

I am noticing the same thing: long loading times, disconnections and the inability to zone into delves, zones, etc. because of server time out. High latency is also a problem that wasn't present prior patch.

Long loading screens usually happens from bigger instance to smaller instance. For example from open world trying to enter the delves. Or from open world trying to enter quest instance. The load screen can take 5-7 minutes. But when doing the reverse, (trying to get out of delves) seems to load normally.

At least that's what happen to me. (NA)

For me NA, it just happens 2 times thus far. I heard others have more of an issue than I am.

For EU: Got them in Cyro since the patch before. Thought you are already working on it.

After a year of not playing, I come back and get ESO+ only for it to get thrown into disarray.
Still a shame they dont have any other servers other then the EU and NA. How about oceanic?

No loading screen issues in my end. Considering the amount of people reporting this issue in the thread it seems something went broken last patch. Hope ZOS get it fixed soon for you guys.

If you don't want to wait or want to try a workaround try the following:

- Disable all addons.
- Reduce View Distance to 0 in Graphic Settings.

I know it sucks but has helped me in the past after troublesome patches.

No oceanic, they've told the Asians to play on the North American Server. Such a shame, i'm from Aus and i'd love an Oceanic server.

Can confirm its happening to EU as well. We got many loading screens while progressing through vMOL yesterday that we did not experience before the patch.

Happened once earlier when trying to port to Tempest Island, but after I relogged, I got there. Now I'm trying to unlock Meteor by finishing up mages guild skill, and I can't get into Greenshade. Killed the program, tried again, and it just loads forever. I'm on the NA/PC, in the DC faction. I'm going to try to go around or get a port from a guild is because I've never been to Greenshade and it is possible to enter from the zone above it, if I can even get into that one.

Update: I got into Malabal Tor. It might be an issue with instancing because the door to Greenshade enters an instanced area I think.

Update: Unable to get into Greenshade from the Malabal Tor gate either. Now I will try to get a port.

Tried to get a guildie to port. They can't even get into Greenshade.

GREENSHADE IS BROKEN FOR THE DC FACTION.

Some guildies and I were trying to run a random normal last night (Wayrest Sewers). I was in Coldharbour, dunno where the rest of my guildies were. Got stuck the first time on a two minute loading screen for Wayrest Sewers, then kicked back to the log in screen. Tried to log in again, got booted back. Logging in the second time worked. I immediately typed an apology to my guildies, then noticed that one had DCed, and the other was complaining about the long log in screen. The DC'ed guildie came back, and we attempted the queue again... Same problem! I tried to port elsewhere, but I couldn't (got a "transfer failed" error message, or something to that effect). So I logged out, logged back in again (with another long loading screen). I was then able to port away from Coldharbour. When we queued again, we were finally able to get in.

I don't know if me being in Coldharbour made a difference or not, but porting out seemed to help. Just seems weird that the ENTIRE GROUP was affected. One guy said he was booted back to the log in screen four times.

We're on PC NA, btw.

Oh, and when I was running the main quest that has you attempting to unite all the alliance leaders to defeat Molag Bal, I had long loading screens between each port to each king/queen of about three minutes. Never encountered anything like that before once actually in the game. I sometimes have a long initial loading screen on log in after a patch, but no long load screens once I'm actually playing.

On EU server and my long loading screens were mostly in Cyrodiil in Blackwater Blade last night after the patch. I also got thrown out of the game today (crash to desktop) after activating Rapid Maneuvers on my Guar in Vulkhel Guard shortly after coming out of the wayshrine

i would also say that game breaking is more like constant blue screens, freeze screens.

got some long load screens yesterday in Cyro. One of them was simply endless. I waited about 10 mins and then gave up, had to close and re-open game.

I was trying to enter the Sewer Tenement for the DB Sacrament, got an endless loading screen. Closed the game after waiting quite a while, logged back in, selected the teleport in option again and was met with another endless loading screen so I gave up. NA PC here. So far it's just been that location for me. I've been getting around Wrothgar and The Gold Coast fine.

I've only had the infinite loading screen once, and that's going into the DC daggerfall outlaw refuge.

AD and DC reapers march and coldharbour work for me. I was also able to get into DC Argent Mine in Wrothgar no problem as well.
