It did not take this long when the game launched in 2014
Ohhh yes it did. Remember the pre-launch time we got for pre-purchasing? I remember, with hilarity, the numerous threads wanting a refund because they didn't get the full pre-launch bonus time. After launch the halts for emergency maintenance due to bank exploits and banks disappearing.#AlmostGood@ESO0 -

Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.

Asata✭✭✭Open up the forums and realize I hate everyone that plays ESO (we have extremely toxic forums on patch days, which pretty much highlights the general playerbase), and question what I'm doing even playing this game that I can't play one day a week every week.
Consider rewatching some television series I loved. Consider starting playing some other game.
Patch days are overall a very negative experience for me, every time. I'm getting progressively more annoyed with them as the weeks go on.0
