Your opinions

Your opinions do not accurately represent the majority population that play ESO. There's 50x more people who don't participate in the forums than there are here. It's truly sad the ZoS will never get solid feedback because of this.

So instead we should just stop voicing our opinions? Since we don't make a difference at all? What a lively forum that would make

But when it comes to polls and people begging for nerfs or when they think something is too OP, most ppl do not agree with you. Just because 10 people on the forums says something is broken theres 100,000+ who aren't here that think it's fine. Vice versa too.

More importantly your opinions don't constitute fact and need to be presented in a way that it its known this is subjective.

Remember kids, perception is reality, so what they see is all there is.

Plus if you are using a % as hyperbole, you lose a lot of respect for the presented opinion in my book.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

Hmm? Another quantum fan ? This could get interesting, maybe we can take this discussion to PM instead of junking up a thread though.

    Thanks OP....

We, the absolute minimum of the entire player base of the game, who bother enough to come to the forums, did not know this startling revelation .....

If they don't voice their opinion, that's their and Zos prob, not ours.

I have my opinion, everyone playing the game has one, the difference is whether you share it or not.

They don't interview everyone in the street for opinion polls. It is a sample. Samples will only be as good as the sample group provided. Take the lottery box idea (Let's not derail with an argument about the rights on and wrongs on that), for that there is agreement across this site, reddit and a few more sites that it is perhaps not the best idea. That is four independent sample groups leaning in the same direction so we can say they are on to something.

Oh, dear... I guess I'll just stop voicing my opinion because I don't have the majority of the people on the forums plus the remaining 50x that amount to back me up. I am certainly not a grown adult with the capacity of free thinking and need validation from as many other people as possible. Thank you for freeing me from my curse.

Not at its most basic premise: voicing one's opinion. You can't get upset with those that do just because they don't agree with you. If you do not want to be represented by the vocal minority, then stop being the silent majority.

If ZOS bases its changes on what it hears from its fan base, and you don't like those changes, don't get mad at ZOS or the fan base. Do you think that ZOS has mastered mind-reading?!

there appears to be a non-sequitur here.

in an election you get to cast a vote - presumably for the candidate that you wish to win.

in an opinion poll you are asked to give your opinion on a given topic. it may be something that you care about, know about, don't care about or know nothing about - and of course you could just lie or - as has been demonstrated in research - just say what you think the person interviewing you wants to hear.

quite what that has to do with zos being master mind readers i really couldn't say.

    Now you're over complicating it...

You either state your opinion, or you don't.

ZOS can only act upon opinions it hears, and they always have the option of ignoring said opinion.

What ZOS can't do is act upon an unstated opinion, and that's what the OP is complaining about; that the stated opinions are not his and thinks that because they are not his opinion, that ZOS should not act on them.
