Is it the Dungeon Finder, or just the Role?

So does the Dungeon Finder in itself have a problem, or is it just particularly difficult to find a group as a DPS role? I remember I used to kind of easily get grouped up with people when I queued as a Healer. I like to figure that there's just too many DPS people trying to Queue and not enough Healers and Tanks, but a lot of people have been saying there's an actual problem with the Finder.

I get the feeling the below image is a commonly shared feeling.

It's 100% the dungeon finder during higher traffic times. I found 3 groups at 6am within 1 minute of searching on XB1 as DPS. I've never found a group otherwise.

Both, but DPS is longer because the majority want to play DPS.

It's definately the activity tool

I have a few characters and one of each role above level 50.
Now I'd say I only play AD and DC and 3 classes but at release of update TG none of my characters would get a group. Regardless of time of day.

Now only two will until mid-afternoon yesterday.
Now just one whose an AD healer.

My tank sat in queue 3 different times yesterday for 1 hour and no group was found. Yeah...tank...

I personally have a theory that the server cannot form group when a min number in queue exceeds "X" or when "X" number have been in queue longer than "Y" amount of time regardless of roles.

I've notice that after DB update I've never been in a random group after being in queue for over 10 minutes.

I'm not suggesting to keep leaving and to rejoin the queue but what's happening is when something doesn't work, ppl form a work around.

The tool more than often doesn't work so now they added Tex chat so some will use this instead and never enter the queue. This has exponential negative impacts.

I've also noticed if I go to the undaunted town in my faction, those groups are very often formed as of this week via text and voice chats.

If a problem exists and is consistently a problem, ppl will avoid it at all costs. The devs do not make it a priority so ppl stop using broken things and are very unlikely to accept that it's fixed.

I play exclusively as healer and yesterday I got group on finder only once, while I was queuing whole evening, starting from
18 :00 till 03:00 - only one group formed!
I start to think that maybe the problem is because everyone queues as every role . For example, all the time I queue only as healer and when I finally get group I see other players in it also have set just one role (like one for tank ,one DD and another also just for DD). But then, when I waited for hours, I tried to join as healer and DD and when group finally formed up (soon enough) I noticed that all other people in group also queued with many roles, most of them as healer/DD. Maybe that's the cause, because almost everyone is queuing as healer/DD lately?

I can't understand why this method, when everyone can queue as all three roles at the same time, is introduced in game at all! It only adds to trolling, when you see DPS joining as Tank, but does only DPS!
