magicka sustain set combo question

Howdy, I'm currently thinking of trying a 2p engine guardian + 5p desert rose + 5p warlock set VS. 2p engine guardian + 5p desert rose + 5p seducer set. I'm curious which set up you guys would think is better, I currently alternate between healing/dps when in groups? Right now I don't have the money for the warlock set, but would be interested in getting it in the future if it pans out. Thanks for the help.

If you are doing healing/dps, I would definitely pitch in for Spell Power Cure. Buffs both your own and your group's dps by a fair amount. It can be a very slow grind, but it's definitely worth it.
For the sustain, enchant your jewlery with magicka recovery glyphs. I found that using a resto staff that recovers magicka along with at least one recovery glyph gives me no issue with resources.

✭✭Willow's whatever is the best for sustain, period. I don't know why everyone ignores this set--it's fantastic for tanking (especially), healing or PVP. With so much CP you don't need tank sets to actually tank, you're hitting the caps anyway and overkill is redundant for PVE--you can add any major ward skills for PVP too. Add some regen rings (the PVP bind on equip ones are great), or the new magika set pieces to it as well and you can clear 3000 regen easy. Almost 4K with buffs. Seducer is also great for magika builds.
Engine Guardian I've never been fond of since the type of resource you get back is always random. Meanwhile, you could have been dropping spores, or other decent effects instead of getting the same resource you didn't need three times in a row.0 -

For dps any regen is a reduction of DPS. Few good dps builds have regen in it. It is toss out strong dps and have good support for your regen or toss out weaker dps and never see magika dip low. Really, I rarely bottom out of magika.
For healing the core set is SPC which buffs the groups damage and is a good set for healing. The rest of the set if filled out with Worm/Aether/Twilight/Gossum. The later sets all come in jewelry, armor and weapons.0
