✭Not a fan of 1x1 but I hope they also implement an arena with leaderboards and allow people to watch and bet! I think would be a superb addition to the game, lore correct and appease all audiences. Duels should have an auto decline feature for those who don't want to be bothered by the system. I'm on the fence whether we should allow duels in the towns. I can make crowded places even more laggy or disturb roleplaying for some.2 -

AC is not a cheating, just a fail about zos side, that experienced player exploited it at extreme.
It's a fail on pretty much most mmorpg's.
ESO is definitely not the only or infact worst mmorpg I have seen AC being an issue.0 -

If outside the city walls, I don't really care. I don't like it and I won't be doing this for sure. But as many have wanted this to be a thing for so long, so be it. But stay away from the cities.3 -

I don't mind if dueling happens in cities; however I hope that duelists have to deal with the guards if there's any collateral damage. I vote that instead of being killed or having to pay a fine, the duelists get to spend time in the stocks ... and we can PvP rotten egg and tomato throwing at the afore-mentioned characters for the next 5 minutes .. as a mini game perk for the PvE & RP crowd.
Even have a town-crier read out the list of grievances ... "<insert player's name or this dirty rotten scoundrel> has been found guilty by the municipal fathers of <insert name of city> on the charge of willfully disturbing the peace and roasting Amelia Hostia's pet chicken with a stray fire bolt .. she-he is to be put in stocks forthwith and to be pelted with rotten eggs for being so careless ... etc, etc."Edited by Breg_Magol on August 22, 2016 10:56AM3 -

If accepted, the two players can duel. There. Easy as pie and no one who doesn't want to be bothered with thousands of duel requests doesn't get them.I don't comment here often but when I do, I get [snip]2 -

This is the only logical way it cold work, though 30 minutes is a little long, probably more like 3-5 minutes and it becomes a draw if neither are defeated in that time. There may be some safe zones. Outside of that idk since dueling always seemed silly to me, buy hey, some like it.0 -

The timer they spoke of was not on the actual battle, but on the amount of time they spend after the battle talking smack to each other in zone chat.0 -

✭✭✭✭I used to play a MMO where dueling was allowed to take place in certain inns in every city.
The dueling area was always separate from the main bar area and a prompt always came up if you entered the designated space, informing you that this was a PVP area,
You could then either choose to just watch or access a menu which gave I think 3 different types of matches you could participate in.
I think something along these lines would keep everybody happy. When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
