I look forward to no longer having faction segregation, but that's it. I have no interest in dueling and I most certainly don't want the lockboxes.

I am super excited for OT, and update 12.

The only thing I oppose is the lockboxes. That is nothing more than unapologetic money grabbing no matter how its spun.

Very happy about One Tamriel. That's how the game should have been done originally.

Not impressed with dueling, I'm going to disable it as soon as I log in after the update, hope there's not too many people spamming chat with requests and try to forget about it. I had enough of that after playing Guild Wars 1 and seeing "Any1 1v1?" over and over and over in chat all day, every day.

Really not impressed with RNG boxes. I'm not concerned I'll be tempted to buy them because I've never wasted my money on gambling in real life or in games, but I am concerned about the knock-on effects. I suspect we can give up on previous crown store items returning in any other format and probably give up on reasonable prices for new items. Don't want to spend 3,000 crowns for a mount? That's ok, wait until next month when you can spend just 400 crowns (per go) for a 0.1% chance to get it! And if not you'll get other great prizes like 1 portion of crown store food!

Sometimes that's easier said than done.

Oddly enough I've never had trouble with Tamriel but there's some words I've never been able to get my head around. I was 17 before I learned to spell friend and I still can't get disappointed or business right without a spell checker.

The saddest part is that I was really excited for One Tamriel.

Now, my friends of other factions are quitting because of the boxes, so it doesn't matter anymore.

We can all find a new MMO

      Sorry I didn't see your message before, @Cazzy >.<

I'm not quitting, just my Pact friends and my one Covenant friend are, which make One Tamriel kinda pointless to me because now I only have Dominion friends anyway. I'll miss them, and I'll miss you too in the forums (since we don't play on the same platform afaik) if you really decide to quit for good.

I really can't quit. Despite everything, it is still TES, and I'm too attached to my characters - all ten of them - to leave.

Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

I would be more excited for One Tamriel but I am sure it will be a buggy mess for months and I still have concerns about how to harvest all levels of crafting materials.

Dueling might be fun as long as you can't do it in the cities. I do not want to see light shows inside every bank.

I hope it will all work out eventually but I can't get excited about it yet. Especially with the new mounts coming exclusively to the gamble boxes. I don't want to gamble, I just want to buy the things that I want.

Most of the discontent surrounding the boxes aren't about whether or not you actually have to buy them. It is more so about the fact in general that Zeni is adding them, it is literally nothing more than a blatant cash grab. Not to mention that the player base did not ask for them to be added. At this point for ZOS, it's just all about getting as much money out of this game before it tanks.

As incredibly irritated as I am by the RNG gambling boxes with their exclusive content that I will refuse to buy, the OTHER developments are things I look forward to. I only hope ZOS is smart enough to DISALLOW dueling in banks and other buildings, confining it to an out of doors activity.

What is the point of leveling up with this coming update?

They might as well remove all these levels since whatever you do, if you think you are getting "stronger" each time you earn a champion point or go up another level, or get some good gear, your opponents are also going to be just as strong wherever you go.

There is really no point in leveling anymore.

I like all of it except this scaling nonsense.

A level 3 and a champ 531 should not be that close in stats to each other.

Put crafted set gear on a level 3 and watch this scaling put it even closer to a champ 531.

      That doesn't seem right.

This. But I don't want to rant anymore.

They'd actually make more money from me by putting more things in the store so I can buy what I want. I don't want to buy gamble boxes for a chance at the exclusive item I want because that's the only way they're available. I don't want to buy random junk. I don't need any of these things. But I want to help them make money by buying the things that I like. It's really pretty simple.

I hope there will be an option to auto-decline, or block, duel invites. Few things are more irritating than an immature nerk spamming duelling requests because he or she is too stupid, disrespectful, or both, to take no for an answer.

I understand the only solution to this is reporting the player and have GMs to progressively ban the reported person.

People with this level of behavior usually tend to annoy others in every other way they find and have Zenimax give them a boot is a good deed to the whole community.

i dont get why all the factions and races didnt play together already.

in real life, race and gender don't exist, to see such fantasy in a game at first was blaspheme, but then it became appealing.

this change, into one Tamerial, may just be the beginning to the end of the sacred home lands of our favorite characters.

imagine if your kajit child started to fall in love with argonian space lizard with gold teeth

will we be able to create a gender fluid class?

      so many unanswered questions.

Race and gender are social constructs. Concerning "races", we do have ethnic groups or ethnicities. But no, there is not biologic races in human kind. Phenotypical traits doesn't define "races".

Gender is also social construct and you can actually dress yourself and behavior like the opposite gender anytime you want, a lot of democractic countries also allows you officially change it btw. There is also many culture that recognizes more than 2 genders.

You do born with allosomes and indeed stay with them for the rest of your life. But gender and the features of your ethnic groups are social constructs and you learn them.

One Tamriel lets us wander all of Tamriel which is awesome. Good for Roleplay and I didnt know there was dueling. I'm OK with that too.

The random boxes is really stupid but not something worth leaving for. People who leave because of cosmetic RNG are way too sensitive.

I would like to know if it will be possible to duel inside cities. Anyone knows? Because people spamming AoE skills in Rawl are already annoying enough.

I will have some fun setting up in-character dueling in the Thizzrini Arena area, though. It would be awesome if ZOS let us enter the actual arenas with after quest completion, but just being nearby is nice too.
