Right now imo templar is very op. Both stamina and magicka. Put a sword and shield on them and get them bloacking. They have high for and really good defence. What do you guys think? I also think stam dk and sorc should have a stamina dps ability

✭✭✭✭It's hard to determine balance between classes right now because stamina builds in general are vastly out-performing magicka due to DBoS, Shuffle, and insane animation cancelling. Additionally there are a decent number of "troll builds" that further muddy the balancing waters, most of which seem to synergize well with magplars and stamblades. Balance in general is completely screwed this patch... I think it's worse than it's ever been overall.8 -

Top tier is Stamblade and Magplar.
Mid-tier is everything else that is not sh!t tier.
Sh!t tier is Mag DK and Mag Sorc.
PVE - anything stamina is God tier, anything Magicka is sh!t tier.

✭Are you taking about 1v1 or what? People saying magicka dk are not op must only be talking about pure dps. Nothing is more powerful in a group vs group fight then 1 good magicka dk. IMO they can make a difference the most (as well as a good negate from a sorc) I'm group vs group fighting.
1v1 all classes have op builds and counters. Stamina does have a lot less counters though.1 -

✭none are opPersonally I think Templar is lacking, especially stamina templars in a PvE setting. Dragonknights still get the best dps, though suffer slightly from the fact that they have to be close to their target.
I think that in the right hands any class / resource setup / role can be powerful. I don't think any one class is overpowered, as the word means they are too strong compared to other classes. I think a statement like "x is too overpowered" would probably come from someone complaining about another person who is just a better player, as I have seen many people play Dragonknight which is supposedly "overpowered" and fail miserably.1 -

Nightblades are ment to hit hard and do a shot low of damage. But they at not up because they did very easy0 -

Some classes however have not much choice left anymore to be viable: they are pidgeonholed.
So... less diversity of choices, of builds, playing styles or roles
like a Mag Sorc
A Stamina Sorc has much more choice for easy viable builds.
Some classes can be played in a wide diversity of viable kind of builds,
and are much less affected by level of playing skills,
like Templars.
And like with Racials
I am perfectly happy when some classes will always be better for some specific playing styles/roles, like a DK is for group tanking.
But ZOS should balance that all classes have a comparable and wide range of desirable and viable choices.

Flameheart✭✭✭✭✭As so many posts here before this one misses again the difference between builds, PvP and PvE in this game...Builds based on magicka or stamina are like two different classes and PvE and PvP are like two completely different worlds.
In my opinion concerning PvE and the state of magicka and stamina builds, the dps difference with the latest stamina buffs is out of control. I have no issues with stamina builds which have less self protection and their need to go the more risky path to deliver their dps in general to do somewhat more dps as magicka dps builds.
