Game Client constantly freezing and locking up + ctd

This is happening constantly. Every few hours to sometimes every few minutes. Last time I were online for less than five minutes before it froze again, you click around and the thing gives you this;

And the only way to get it to work is to shut down the program forcefully and then reboot the client again. It happens literally every few hours and sometimes every few minutes. Its ridiculous as its causing me to be unable to play the PvP and often times get kicked out of the campaign and have to wait to rejoin.

Yes, you cant play PvP in zerg-style, like DC and AD usually do in Trueflame. Server cant handle with data transfer to 200+ clients so random clients just disconnected by timeout and sometimes eso(64).exe crashed. And Zeni ignore this situation more than 2 years. (Just curious as to how the server LineAge2 handled the siege? And why ZOS in 2014 cant do same thing as NCsoft in 2003?)

Well how come they do not get constantly disconnected and crash then? This seems a little weird to happen to just me?

Well, my English is very bad, but I will try to explain. It may be the case in your PC setup. Previously, I had a constant crash 64-bit version ESO so I used 32 bit. By chance, I went to my computer setup to overclock page and found that my PC 2 years work in 25% overclocking mode. Apparently it did the seller in the store, but I did not check (I never overclock the PC and not even thought about what has been done). After I returned to the default settings, all works fine. I still have disconnects due to lags but no more crashes and CPU temperature dropped from 80 to 60 ° C during game and 30° C in idle.
And it is pure random, who will be disconnect. I saw how disconnected a full DC raid (even two raids, more then 40 ppl) while our 15-16 defenders feel fine(maybe someone was disconnected but I have not seen) .

My computer is having no problems like that, it runs 34-35° C while playing.

The client is having these crashes and freezes frequently when not even in big battles.

Also, your english is fine. Mine is not so great either.

I have a similar problem. My system and the game were pretty stable before yesterdays patch. Now I get frequent CTDs, whether I am in Cyrodiil or doing PVE. It usually happens every 15-20 minutes, sometimes sooner.
Have run a repair of the game within the launcher, but that didnt help.

Yeah.. it have not happened as much in PVE for me, but I play more PVP than PVE so that is there.. but it have happened a few times.. I wonder what the chances of us getting a ZOS reply to this are? Considering its taken this long to get any replies at all and nobody seems to have any fixes or ideas.

Another thing you can do, is to delete the user settings file, as they can become corrupted after updates for whatever reason. This can be found in my documents, elder scrolls online folder, live. Having experienced continual crashes in the past after updates, it worked for me. Providing you're on pc of course.

Getting really P****d off with the graphics freeze, now happening every 10 - 15 minutes since tonights patch. None of the workarounds work.

Are you sure you do not use add-ons? I have 1 'freezing addon' - Crystal Shard Procs. Cant live without so i have only one choice - '/reloadui' when freeze begins and it helps for 20-30 min.

Thx for the advice. Tried it now, but the crash came nevertheless. I will try to disable any addons left, even if that will be painful.

/edit: well, still crashing with no Addon active. Damn

Deleted all addons, now getting graphics freeze every 30 - 45 minutes. This issue has posts going back to 2014 and it's disgusting that it's still causing problems for some people.

Yeah. All my addons are up to date and not causing problems.

Including to trying the /reloadui command many times before posting this thread. But it seems the ZoS mods/admins do not care as they have not replied at all.

After a lot of testing I finally found the culprit in my case. Which was:

Me, myself and I

A couple of days ago I fiddled around with some settings in Windows. And I changed the sound quality from 48000Hz to 96000Hz. I couldn't really imagine that this would cause any issues, but now that I reverted it back....all is fine.

Maybe that could be of help for someone else....
