Question about heists and sacraments and the motifs they drop

So I was just wondering how the motif drops work for the heists and sacraments. Do the motifs drop no matter how badly you screw up? Cuz I reeeeeeally suck at them, like so terrible, because I'm far too impatient. So the first one I did, I massively screwed it up but still got a motif. But I've done a bunch since then and no motifs. So I guess my question is, do you have a better chance of getting the motif if you complete each heist and sacrament perfectly? Or does it not matter? Does RNG just hate me?

Also, am I the only who hates the heists and sacraments? How does anyone get through them perfectly?! So ridiculous.

i hate the heists because you cant use the blade of woe without being spotted. but i like the sacraments when they dont glitch out.

i have never gotten a motif drop on a bad run --- but i have gotten one on every perfect run

Hmm interesting. Looks like I'll be buying all these on guild traders, since I'll probably never get a perfect run. I mean, I did get one on a bad run, but if the percentage to drop is lower, then I sure don't feel like grinding these out every day for the next, what, like 2 years?.

Well, then you must be very lucky because I had four perfect sacraments in a row and no motif in that blue box. Tonight, it glitched on me after doing another perfect sacrament. The timer was still running and I was standing in front of Speaker Teranus. I got a green box.

A perfect heist will earn you a motif (that's what I think he meant) while a perfect sacrament is not a guarantee for a motif.

Heist perfect run is a sure motif 100%... I have no clue on non perfect runs with them because I havent run them for the motif on non magicka nightblades

Sacrament has been small chance on perfect runs for DB motif from the blue container. And an even smaller chance on non perfect runs from the green container. The green container is super easy and fast to farm, run in kill the one main objective guy run back out. No need to stealth at all. There are also some days where the perfect runs is easy on all characters due to npc placement.

Just a bit of proof sacrament non perfect green containers can contain motif...
