Unable to buy ESO plus while in game (XBOX One)

Ok, so in the past I have always just gone to the crown store while in game and clicked on my right joy stick and that would allow me to purchase more ESO Plus but now nothing happens when I press my right joystick and the only other option given is to purchase crowns vis pressing the Y button. I have also tried purchasing crowns via the XBOX One dashboard but that only give me the option to manage my ESO Plus membership and not purchase more time.

Any and all help would be appreciated.. I might have had a little more to drink tonight that I thought

On the eso plus tab in game does it say active? The page in the store I mean.

Yeah I have an active ESO plus membership (IE - ESO Plus Membership: Active) but no way of renewing it before it runs out (like I used to by pressing my right joystick). ESO is set to expire on 9-12-16 so I have a little more time but I always like to purchase well in advance.

I thought it auto renewed for a while now. Hence the manage sub option. You either keep it going automatically or cancel it only. I didn't think there was an option to purchase a singular months membership on XB.

They may have changed it to auto renew but in the past, I would just press down on my right joystick and then select purchase ESO plus.. and then purchase 4 or 5 months at a time.

Right I see. If you log into your live profile, via Hotmail account thing and manage subs, it'll say when it expires. But it should say as mine does..."renews on" the fact you've bought more at once just postpones the renewal date by x months for each payment made. But if you don't buy anymore it'll just renew itself.

To clarify, mine "renews on 03/09/16, that's in Sept for the Americans, not March. If I pay again it'll put that date back to 03/10/16. Hope that helps but it won't run out......unless zos does the usual and declines you all dlc and crowns for no reason.

You can no longer buy ESO Plus from in-game while its active. Whether it's a bug or not I've brought this and many Xbox one ESO plus issues up to @ZOS_DaryaK who at least listened and shared my feedback.

Continue to communicate this stuff as ZOS does not have ESO plus in the Xbox one store and even before update 11 but as of the Xbox store change to combine win 10 and Xbox one stores, this was the issue.

So if you don't actually have ESO plus active call Xbox one and have it cancelled then open a ticket with ZOS as well so it's on their bug list.

OH! And when you do buy, go ahead and create a ticket after 1-2 hours cause you won't get your crowns more than likely.

Unless you go into your XB1 settings and cancel (auto renew) subscription payments it will automatically renew itself every month without delay. If you want to find out if you are still a ESO+ Member simply go to your character screen in-game and scroll down and it will display the following;

If you're looking to purchase ESO+ with crowns then you can't.. Otherwise with the free crowns you receive each month from being a member you could keep renewing your sub for free

You cannot cancel this on the Xbox one. You must go to the Microsoft account under billing to cancel it. Or call Xbox support. The other issue is many if not all of us on Xbox one, don't get the crowns were suppose to even when we pay for ESO plus.

This was what I am wondering, something has changed with the way ESO plus can be purchased. I used to be able (and always have) purchased my ESO plus directly while playing the game... I really wish they would fix this as anything else is a pain in my side.

I am fine with it auto renewing but the huge plus side to purchasing several months in advance is getting all the crowns at once!!

ZOS has no care about it working.
They've been given A LOT of feedback but really aren't taking action.

ESO plus isn't technically on Xbox cause you cannot access the sku on Xbox.com, smartglass or even the Xbox one game store. It's only a hidden sku from inside the game and also possibly out of compliance after two Xbox one store updates since ESO launched but again....ZOS was told this by many and the powers to be wont take action.

It's 100% ZOS.
Ever wonder why both PC and PS4 have ESO plus 1,3&6 month options but Xbox one isn't even in the actual Xbox store or website. At launch you couldn't even access ESO plus unless you knew the special button pressing

It's one thing if it's in there wrong and the dev asks to fix it and it's fixed wrong. It's another thing when it's wrong and it's been over a year with no changes. We got a...we're talking to Micros Ft about it and then an official announcement that it was fixed....we tried and that week and it still didn't work

Now we all were given extra crown from ZOS due to the issue and on every ticket we all get extra crowns due to the issue. If it were an Xbox issue, I doubt we'd get extra crowns
