Will Crown Boxes kill Crafting?

If people spend money to get "super rare mounts" (Mat said), then people will get a ton of pots, food, etc. In return that will kill crafting, since no one is going to buy such items from the crafter since they have over stock via the random crown boxes.

What are your thoughts on that?

No. Crafted stuff is always better than the stuff in the crown store.

Concur with AzraelKing. Everyone has access to in-game gold and crafted materials, not everyone is able or willing to buy Crowns, and die-hard min-maxers won't use the Crown Store stuff anyway.

True, however my point is: If a player have crown 100 Tri Posts via the crown RNG boxes; will the player go to an in game crafter to get a tri pot?

This is absolutely true. People claim that some of the items in the Crown Store are P2W... but the reality is, what the Crown Store offers is much less than what you can get in-game; I never use Crown Store pots or food beyond level 20.

as has been said, crafted gear is always better. So aye you might have 100's and if you dont care might use them. But most will sell and only use the stringer stuff.

Sell to whom - if everyone and his dog has the same stuff from the boxes, it will not sell at all. If you can sell it at all - it could be bound. Result of it - you have crap, which you cannot sell nor want to use for 400 crowns a box - this is all there is to it.

Yeah because a 100 or 200 or even 300 pots go nowhere for a more than average player, especially if you PvP. That might be enough for a few days worth of PvP and I doubt someone will keep spending real money to restock them. I've had crown store potions lying around for many months now and I still only use crafted ones, they are better, easy to get and cost no real money.
