Its do to multiple topics talking about the same thing. They tend to want to isolate the topic to one thread, its how they do things on here. Which is understandable its easier on them.PC NA

Yeah it's a tactic to bury things.....it's all too common practice here.
Go to the Xbox one tech support forums.

✭✭✭Honestly, way way more people hate lockboxes than want them. Pretty much in every mmo I have played so far people complained about them non stop in General chat, on the forums, and on reddit. Who came up with this idea for this game anyway???
Instead of price gauging their customers , they should put content in the game that makes people want to sub, revamp cyro, add more RP value, add GOOD events, look at the lore and implement lore friendly holidays, mini games, small scale pvp ( 8 v 8 ), horse racing, the list goes on.0 -

But they are doing that too.
Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowly, yeah, they are. They should have been doing this stuff from the get go. Big expansion, small add on, big expansion, small add on. That is how it should have been. Instead its just 1 big expansion with nothing innovative after another. I enjoy all the expansions, and I love this game. But when it comes to stuff that will bring in new players and cause people to sub, there isnt much. The mat bag is REALLY nice, and I love how it works, but there needs to be more.1 -

It's not remotely to bury things, it's to stop every person with a self-important opinion on something launching a separate topic on it when there are a gazillion topics on it already. In this case it's lockboxes, other times it's whatever is the rage of the month. I'm glad they do it, it saves having to run down a couple of pages to find something different to read.
If they wanted to bury a topic they'd just remove the threads, they wouldn't close them with a link to the thread they want to concentrate the discussion on.Edited by Tandor on August 20, 2016 1:08PM0 -
