This is one of the reasons I'm not too excited about some of the ideas I've seen thrown around on the forums. While it would be immensely convenient to have all the crafting stations, a vendor, a banker and a wayshrine in my house, I'd hate to see what it would do to the big cities. I do not wanna see cities reduced ghost towns. I fear it will even become that with guild housing, however at least with guild housing you can interact with other players. Just imagine those 500 member trading guilds
Housing is fine. Show off cool trophies or achievements, but not a one stop shop that you never leave. Sorry, nope. Let us buy them with gold, or better yet, give us a quest. Let us make improvements that take time like crafting. O you wanna do an addition? 5 days. Boom another room. Or you get to pick a single crafting station. Boom another 5 days. We live in this game, just make it worth our time. Let us make it our own. Variety is the the spice of life.... and we all know how much spice is worth. Just watch Dune.Conan, what is good in life?
