The poll implies that pvp = group play, which couldnt be more wrong. Pvp is not raiding. A competent solo player has to fill all these roles.

I see what your saying but youd primarly be on one end of the stick more then another. Everyone should have a self heal and decent dps at the least this is true.

But regardless of being a solo or not there are still alot of other players around you and during siege people do have a role. Tanky players front line rush, dps making targets, and healers keeping people in battle longer.

Of course you can try to be the man out in cyrodiil but strategy gets campaign victorys and emp. Strategy requires a role.

As you use resourse for self heals they could be saved for combat skills thanks to a fellow healplar or perhaps a dps player who helps you kill a enemy faster.

Mate I had 4 v16 toons before vet ranks were removed and trust me, you can do it with any class, just use brain (now my two favs are still magsorc - real group monster thanks to prison+negate+vicious+proxy and magplar the unkilable - no I dont use malubeth, reactive or transmutation)

I didn't know what you meant by DPS as you still have to fill the other two roles to be effective.

In PvP I enjoy my magicka sorc (OVERLOAD), my stamina sorc and my magicka and stamina nightblades.

I solo only on the the magicka classes, because I find it more fun and its always great to T-bag that NB/DK with his cookie-cutter build that he didn't even make himself (and thus doesn't know how to play). 1vXing on a sorc and having 10 people chase you around a rock or a tree while you burst them down 1 by 1 is priceless, its way too fun. Magicka NB is also pretty fun, trolling everyone with Shadow Image. Mobility is king

The stamblade is a ganker only because I just don't like having the same class as 70% of the people in Cyro.

The stam sorc is kinda just there but when I will PvP on him its to get Vigor cause he's brand new (vMA daggers in precise and sharpened on consecutive runs )
