PC or PS4: Returning Gamer

So here's my situation. I bought ESO back when it first came out, even played a bit of the beta. I was very excited as I am a huge Elder Scrolls fan, but after the newness wore off, disappointment set in and I stopped playing. I want to pick the game back up since multiple expansions have been released and (hopefully) most the bugs have been fixed.

I have ESO on my old computer, but I have to play on low-mid graphic settings or I can play on my PS4. Which should I choose to commit to?

PC ESO is much better. There are addons that solve a lot of the problems with missing functions - like being able to easily find items to buy on different traders.

They also get content sooner than consoles.

Only downsides I can imagine: the community might have more 'elite' players, and they get bugs first (along with new content). It's also more easily hacked using cheat engines and people might use macros to gain advantage in PvP.

PC if you want the game to be playable. Console is so bugged right now.

I aint got no issues on console tho.. so i guess we deffine unplayable completely different.

Indeed we do. Besides, PC is no better off in any and all unplayable flaws so Hashtag_'s point is moot.

I have the game on both platforms. PC plays smoother, less clunky, and less issues than console. It seriously plays like a different game.

If your ok with rampent cheating and bots because "the graphics are nicer" go pc.

If you to ever want be on end game leaderboards or do pvp go PS4.

Given the advantages given by addons, and the comfort of a keyboard, I don't even begin to understand why anyone would choose to play on console - if they have a choice.

I have on both but I preffer PS4 over PC.

I feel moor relaxed playing using wireless ps4 controller, in PC u can use ps4 controller but should be wired.

Also i found PVP battles more Interesting on PS4..

I was a (predominantly) PC gamer who turned to the PS4 when my ancient, creaking gaming rig finally died as I couldn't afford to replace it with anything decent. I really like the PS4; is a decent bit of kit and I have grown very attached to it. I've had very few problems playing the game. But as fond as I am of the console, i'll be turning to PC again in about a year.

If you think you might want to stick with the game for the foreseeable future, and can live with the lower graphics performance (assuming upgrading isn't an option), I would go with the PC. Everyone has their own personal reasons for choosing one format over another, all of them valid and important.
