So now that I got this awesome inferno staff, I'm kinda confused about its enchantment. So it says that targets affected by my Wall of the Elements take ____ damage from my light and heavy attacks. Does that include "medium attack weaves" (2 fire balls fired instead of 1 or relate my fast fire balls fired off instead of fully-charged 2 fire balls) between force pulses and other skills?

I know, it's a damn shame I don't even know if I'm using my tool properly after receiving it. And I know it's doing something, because my damage output has significantly skyrocketed. Literally night and day difference in power output.

Yes, of course it includes medium attacks you dingdongs.

Medium attacks is a term we players created. For the game they are considered partially charged heavy attacks, and as such they benefit from everything that affects heavy attacks, as long as the buff doesn't state it only works on fully charged heavy attacks.

Whenever the terms Light and Heavy Attacks apply it means attacking with your weapon in general.

It was answered above.

Mechanically speaking, the game ONLY has 'LIGHT' and 'HEAVY' attacks.

if you charge up your attack and 2 fireballs fly out, its 'HEAVY'

The only time it matters is when a skill/item/etc specifically says 'FULLY CHARGED heavy attacks' (IE Spawn of meph set)

So yes, it really should 'all basic attacks' instead of wasting space with 'light or heavy'

It's still bugged anyways, if the enemy is right in front of you and you do WoE, the extra damage doesn't take effect. The enemy literally needs to be standing in the middle or sort of in the middle, just not on the very edge to get the extra damage.

Can't you just test it?

Hit something with medium weave document results then put wall of elements down and repeat.

He's a PS4 player. It's a bit harder to document DPS shifts without a DPS meter, because you have to do it all by eye.

I'm not sure if they've included the in combat text on Console. I know there's an option on PC though.

Yes it does. On our figures you'll get an additional damage figure pop up with each hit. Same as an enchantment would show.
