Drop rate of Monster Helms?

So I just did Veteran Elden Hollow and all I got from Bogdan was CR140 Savior Boots and no Helmet. Are they supposed to not drop 100% of the time or what?

I think the only thing that was given a 100% drop rate were weapons in Veteran Dragonstar Arena and Veteran Maelstrom Arena. Although, I received by monster set head pieces in my first clear of both of the new dungeons with the SotH update. Hmm... We may need an official report from a ZOS employee, but I don't think it's confirmed that monster set head pieces have a 100% drop chance.

Just remember, if someone else in your party gets a helm and they don't need it they can trade it to you.

Yeah but shortly after we killed it the leader left the group and no one else spoke up lol

That sucks... though there is a timer on the trade time which starts when you pick up the item. If the leader was in teamspeak still he/she would have been able to meet up with you in the game and trade it.

Sorry you missed out on that.

Helms have a 10% drop rate.
