I love this game and mainly do pvp. Many of the best players are not playing anymore because on console, the game is broken. When you save your ultimate and try to dragon leap and it fails, you lose in pvp. Also, we miss out on a lot of ap because we get constantly dashboarded.

I am buying the Xbox one s and am hoping it will fix some of the problems for me.

Agreed. If you play on XBox, and you don't want your console to explode, go ahead and pass on the DLC areas.

This game is so horrible and unplayable that I play it every day for hours on end. A complete travesty. The frame rate is so bad that I spend 4 hours a day tracking it. And don't get me started on PvP! ZoS has ruined it! And I know, cause I spend 80% of my game time there. Other games are so much better. Far Cry, GTAO, and other games, I think. I'm pretty sure those games are much better than this one. But I'm not positive cause I haven't played them in months.

Incompetence! I'm quitting this game today while I'm at work. It better be fixed when I get home or I may decide to play for only 3 hours tonight. YOU HEAR ME, ZOS!?!?!

We forgot Elden Root. I still have issues there from time to time. I really WOULD avoid it but I'm attached to my character already and the storyline SENDS YOU THERE if you're AD. New player blues.....

Dashboarded only a few times in the weeks since last update. Seems to happen during times of exceptional bandwidth need, when my end of the connection simply couldn't get the data it needed fast enough. Beyond that, when your movement speed through the area outpaces the ability of the Internet infrastructure to keep up, you used to fall through the gap to the dashboard and now hit a loading screen instead. It's election season, maybe a bit of getting pissed off at the people who pass laws making it easy for a few companies to be monopolies (and charge you lots for speeds less than half what is enjoyed elsewhere) will cause enough change that will result in the programmers having more elbow room to do good work. So get pissed off, and tell the lawmakers you're tired of having only one or two choices, and to change the laws so it's possible for a startup to happen.

Or, you know, you could just keep getting pissed at the Zos devs here on the forum.

Haha I CANNOT be the only person who never disconnects from the game?? Maybe because its such a norm that people DONT disconnect that nobody mentions how fine their connection is. But when the minority with unstable connections make a noise it looks like the whole console population cant get 30 mins without DCing hahah

I remember saying the same thing on consoles a year ago. I was informed that once I took multiple characters to vet levels and acquired a lot of "stuff"I would have problems.. I didn't believe it at first, but I sure as hell do now.

It is clear from player populations that not everyone is having problems with the game. However there is a significant portion of player who do have these issues regardless of internet speed.

ZOS has directed players with crashing issues to stay out of Orsinium until today's patch.

ZOS has directed players with many random loading screens to begin abandoning quests one by one until performance improves, which was explained as a fault of bugged quests needing to be removed and restarted.

As for myself I have attempted to drag all of my friends and relatives(24+ people) into this game and watched as each; began the game, loved the game, got frustrated with bugs/crashing/lag/etc, quit the game.

I am the only one of my social circle that still plays ESO, they all still play WoW, Smite, LoL, FF14, NeverWinter, among other games. I played in beta on the PC and switched to console on console release. I had my Tiger mount, and I had relatively good performance for most of the first 4-5 months of console play.

When I started encountering problems I went online looking for fixes and tried using port triggering to improve performance, which worked, for a time. Eventually port triggering led to more issues than fixes and I stopped.

Orsinium was when I first started noticing significant crashing issues. These issues only became worse with time and with each DLC released, and I have found no solid fix for them.

I love the design, the art work, the combat system, the classes, and the lore of ESOTU.

However upgrading my internet did not improve performance, reinstalling the game did not improve performance, weekly maintenance has not improved performance, each new DLC has not improved performance.

At some point players like myself will move on, I'm not ready yet. However when you encounter performance issues yourself, when you are unable to play and cannot find any help or fixes, remember, we were here, we tried to tell you, we called for help and pointed to the elephant in the room.

It is my estimation that ZOS' support system is unnecessarily obfuscating, whether intentional or unintentional it leads to less clarity in reports and less reports about problems in the game.

Players in the Xbox1 and PS4 are not the same type of players as those on PC. Sending an automated email in response to a ticket, to an email address that is likely never checked, that requires players to then send another email for any further action to occur, can be seen only as a deliberate action taken to reduce reports of problems, not to fix them.

This ensures that many will never follow up with tickets and will assume they have been ignored and walk away from the game.

Here ZOS could take a note from Blizzard. Blizzard sends ticket responses to players within the client of the game, so that players are much less likely to miss them or fail to respond.

From this I draw the conclusion that ZOS is not financially interested in continuing to invest in the game, but rather is attempting to draw as much profit out of the remaining content they have left to release before selling to a smaller company that while lacking the budget cares more about the game itself.

Are you referring to the cheating or the butterflies?

quite funny i came back into the game today after being away for a couple of months ( i left soon after thieves guild dropped, like 3 days after) without checking if the new DLC had dropped already. although i have to admit the game now is more stable and FINNALLY has text chat. i didn't have any crashes while doing the DB quests which i quite enjoy (way less annoying then the thieves guild, although it still has the daily/fetchquest to level up your rank to continue the storyline which is quite annoying (but thats a discussion for somewhere else). although the game has bled out alot of players as far as i can tell when i went to area's like Deshaan or at random area's (did 25 of those kill quests of the DB so i did travel quite alot today). haven't been in Orsinium though but never had the problems many others had there, sure i would be kicked maybe 3 times a day (especialy during writs) but not the problems some of you talk about.

The current state of the game is actually miles better than what it was. I have never had an issue with storymode what so ever, maps work fine ect game works great. However PVP Cyrodiil could be better. It has got better since release, but it still has issues that has been there since the beginning. Most maps are overloaded with players which makes lag. For some players it makes it impossible to play, and if you have your factions set in these laggy maps (which were not laggy last week for example!) and you can't change them as you have to wait 3 days or so, it becomes impossible to enjoy the game. I have crashes maybe twice every 4 hours? comes up with the error of DOOM. However even with all the problems this game has in PVP I still love it and will still play it.

I have not played since the new DLC has been released as its going to take me 26 hours to download and to get into it. oh yes. 26 hours. However tomorrow I hope I will be able to get into the game and I hope Cyrodiil has improved.
