Well, thanks for the reply, but I'd read the announcement. I just find it unfair to shut down the server on such short notice.

Want a guess?- I think they found out, that something what was causing the maintenance on PC NA is as well effecting PC EU and before this will get bad, they take it down to implement the same fix - it is just a guess, but I think this is the reason.2 -

✭Fishy, only single announcement in game - at 10:15 pm gmt, than no further accouncements for 30 more minutes, finally we were kicked at 10:45 pm GMT
. Afaik announcements are usually repeated every 5 minutes, with increasing frequency 5 mins before time, if I'm not wrong...

Ylmir✭They're probably fixing the bug that put the NA servers offline ( https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/285327/servers-down ) so it doesn't happen on the EU servers. They made an emergency maintenance for NA as well after that, something probably went wrong with the last update.PC EU player, CP500+0

✭✭✭✭✭It is just beside me, how you can think of something petty like a little progress loss in game, when the company has to take down the server AT PRIME TIME - what no company wants to have to do ever - this is an emergency and does not allow to be shifted to tomorrow - it has to be done now, and it is with relative certainty something more serious than just gameplay issues.0 -

I would reconsider those words... never say they know how to "fix it"its always 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards.
Look at wrothgar/orsinium on consoles... 3rd time "fixing" and within an hour after the patch went live, it's still broken...0 -
