Ladies and gentlemen:
At 11:38 a.m. CDT, I began downloading the newest DLC for ESO, Shadows of the Hist. As I write this at 2:12 p.m. CDT, it is *still* downloading and claims it has another 14 minutes to go or so.
Is the PS4 and/or PSN throttled when it comes to DL speeds? I ask, because DL'ing doesn't seem to be as slow as molasses on, say, my computer or other Internet-connected devices.

✭✭✭✭✭Maybe because it is a 19GB file? That takes a while, but don't worry your game install is not going to grow by that much as most of it will be overwriting existing files.
Also, everyone and their puppies are downloading this right now, so that could be a factor too.
One thing that can help if your seeing slower than normal downloads, as in significantly slower than normal, is to pause the download and restart. Probably won't make the next 19 minutes go any quicker, but something to keep in mind for next time.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
