Oh wait there was someone who followed me around yesterday continuously throwing fireballs at me. I was searching for a lorebook. This continued for about five minutes. Don't know what his problem was. I just ignored him since I wasn't doing anything important and it didn't prevent me from doing anything. Poor guy got left behind when I went on my way with my Doom Wolf mount though.

I was fishing once and had someone follow me round for 20 minutes continually opening trade screen with me to interrupt my fishing. PvP folks can moan all they want about opponents doing this or that tactic or spamming particular skills (which largely seem to amount to 'wah wah I lost a fight' in most cases), but until you've had someone spam you with trade offers while you are trying to play, you don't know what griefing is.

Once when I was fishing around the Isle of Contemplation in Auridon, my fishing session was interrupted by a group of about 5 vampires who jumped down from a waterfall and surrounded me. I thought they were going to eat me, but they turned out to be quite friendly and just wanted to join my fishing session.

We had a pretty good time until the fishing spot dried up a cast or two later and they ran off. I'm not really sure what a group of vampires would possibly want to catch a lot of fish for, but since they spared my life I didn't think I'd push my luck by asking!

Nice fishing stories. Mine isn't as great as some of the others posted here but the ONLY time I ever fished was the time a random guy came up beside me and cheered me on with emotes the entire time I casted my lines only soon to run off after the hole dried up.

Not sure why he did that. But I appreciated the company.

I was fishing in cracked wood cave once and a player log in right on the fishing spot. We had a good laugh than I murdered him and used his flesh as bait xD

No, sorry, I had just paused my fishing rout to go get a missing lorebook. So far nothing crazy has happened to me anytime apart from that so, yeah, just a random funny story. I plan on spending the next few weeks fishing so I may see some more interesting/funny things. Working on that damn title!

Was fishing with a friend once in Craglorn. A random saw us and stayed and watched us for about 30 minutes. We'd switch to a different hole, and he/she (it was a female toon) would just spy on us from a far. Very strange....

There was a very nice low level guy running around while I was fishing. He was level 9 and the mobs were level 16. He was trying to pull as many mobs as possible and see if he could survive, it seemed, and he was very surprised when he got out alive from one of the fights. Then he looked at me and said "Don't tell me that was you!".
I replied: "I didn't move. It was all you, and you alone".
He got really happy and thanked me. Too bad he was killed on the pull he attempted, but at least he tried.

Was fishing on the beach, trying to get the last blue fish in the area. A crab walked right in front of me, stopped, then launched into a 14-minute tirade about the movie Seven and how it didn't make theological sense. I told him it made more sense than a talking mudcrab. He dismissively ignored my comment and asked if I was the one farming flowers and leaving the worms. I told him, of course not, I use the worms for fishing. Then I suddenly caught the blue trophy fish needed, but when I turned around the mudcrab was gone. He sent me a friend request a few minutes later.

Then the shrooms wore off.

I was calmly fishing in the Rift when some fool pulled a boss, brought it over to disrupt me just to be a troll. I stood calmly in my spot and watched boss rip him a new one. I then used his innards to continue with my fishing while chuckling softly.

Normally I would help a chap in trouble, but this guy didn't deserve any help at all.

Was fishing in the Imperial City under bridge that have the capture district flag. Heard some flap flaps and jabs then an AD and an EP fell in the gap and started dueling to death whilst my character was groaning for the fish he caught. The AD got rekt and the EP joined me in fishing (I'm DC).

I just wonder how people pull mobs in this game - whenever I tried that, a few of them get out of their normal attack zone - and what happens then, if I hit one of those, who are out of their combat zone is - they immediately get back to their full health, they turn around and go back to their spawn position - they do not fight after being hit once, if they are out of their combat zone - so how to pull mobs in this game?

This basically works like in Witcher 3 - if you pull them out of their combat range, they will just let go, turn back and go to their spawn position. In ESO you just have to poke them once before they do that.

That reliably happens to an npc during the quest to burn harpy aeries. I've seen it for real twice with a bald eagle plucking a squirrel from the ground, and a hawk snatching a toy bird from the air, and Zos came pretty close to reality with it.

Edit:,the eagle did flip the squirrel a bit like the harpy does in the vid, after which the squirrel had no struggle left in him, and the eagle had to put more wing into the effort to regain altitude than the harpy is shown doing. The hawk, it was Christmas Day and it was my nephew's new toy and we were too shocked to see details.
