Get ready to pull your hair out watching this clip I recorded after logging in from a crash. I go through 5 load screens in 5 mins.

Well, don't hold your breath, but it seems there are fixes incoming today for a lot of these problems. Whether it will actually fix anything at all remains to be seen.

Edit: After reviewing the video, the first two (cyrodiil and wayshirne to rift) loading screens are supposed to be there.

I suspect that you are attempting to move faster than the system can load stuff into the world around you. This is possibly caused by a low internet speed. You sprint run to the first board before the npc's and stuff around you has finished loading. Then you mount up at sprint speed to the second one before it again has had time to finish loading stuff around you. Thats the cause of the two loading screens you get at the boards.

I hate to say this, but I move around a bit slower than that, and get no loading screens at all in Riften apart from the one near the gate that has been in the game since it was released on console.

Suggestion - wayshrine in, wait 30 secs. Give riften time to load properly. Slow down click speed on the boards as well. Sort of one click per second. Then stay on foot and run at normal speed to the second board.

Sprinting around everywhere as fast as you can go has always caused loading screens on console. People need to slow down just a tiny amount and give objects and stuff time to load.

Dump all non essential quests from your quest log. This was an official suggestion from ESO and I've had a lot of success with it since. Except when in Cyrodiil, I never have more than 2-3 quests in the log at a time. Very very few load screens anymore.

This may be moot though because we've been told lots of console fixes went into the patch being loaded today.

I feel you. I got kicked to the dashboard 4 times yesterday just trying to make one trip from BRK to Chalman.

Well before thieves guild dlc i never had an issue with random load screens after porting to a new area. It just seemed to get even worse since the DB dlc. One would assume an extra load screen would completely load the area but not in this case lol.

Honestly, i've had hardly any problems, besides in wrothgar, but of course i've always had problems there since it first came out. Even in cyrodiil, hardly a crash at all.

I do think some of people's problems may be their obsession with casting retreating maneuvor and sprint everywhere like the flash because they have 0 patience and got to get there right bloody now. See i have never even slotted that skill. Ever. I have better stuff to slot.
