Trophies - why so rare?

Why is the drop rate on collectible trophies so small? I have slaughtered countless mud crabs and wolves and still have nothing to show for it.

Is there a chance to increase the rate? I would like to unlock these last few common dyes without killing another 2000+ animals.

Treasure hunter trait: +% chance for trophy drops, +% gold from chests, +% chance for increased quality from chests

Please ZOS. Just don't make it an end game trait...

Not to mention if you're EP you can't farm Nix-Hounds after a certain level because the only ones are in Stonefalls and Mournhold. The only other ones are in vMA and I think DSA, but vMA mobs don't drop loot and it wouldn't really be feasible to farm them in DSA> One Tamriel should help with that though.

Agreed. To make it worse, those achievements went from difficult to virtually impossible when they made the stupid change that prevented being able to trade those trophies between alts.

Yes, that has always been a problem. But hoping OT fixes that problem.

I'd take it. The trophies are not worth enough gold to justify such a long grind.

They upped the drop rate on DSA. Unless I'm really lucky (which I'm not considering RNG gear), I pretty much always get a multi faceted eye from those Nixes on the Dunmer Trash round. I counted 8 in my inventory. So you can go there and get it for your completion.

Very good idea, perharps included in the useless prosperous trait something like (increased chances of drop unique / high quality items).

They just need to be account wide. My Sorc just need 2 now. Burning daedroth eye which my DK got this morning from maw of the infernal and the frost Atro heart which I'm certain doesn't exist. It's a longer grind than master angler. Drop rates aren't even, even. How many do you get in darkshade from the dwemer? Always always get them.

Some of them drop, what seems, like 100% while others seem to be 0.0000001% chance.
