why i am not surprised?
so if i was harrased by one group of players and i want to change @userid so they will not able to whisper/harras me again, i cant do it?

✭✭yesI personally like it that people can't change their names just because they want to. That way people can't just simply get rid of their bad reputation and pretend to be another person. It is NOT their job to change it on whim just because you want a new ID. If you have a reasonable, justified reason, please share it.

^THIS! There are far too many people out there who love to cause problems, and then when they get on too many people's ignore list, they could just change their @ User name. So, judging by some of your other posts in the thread about farmers blocking quests, you made a right pita of yourself to a group, who proceeded to return the favor.
There is ignore and report. It isn't ZOS job to clean up a self-induced mess. You apparently had enough time to *** off a group of people, if they are harassing you, you can take the time to report them.
Too many people hide behind name changes; when I report someone who's being a troll/pain/bully/*** in the game, I use "Ignore", then get their @ name and report both. That way not only BooBooFu ckitty gets noted, but @realaccountname does too.

Vanity reasons only thoOverload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. CS reply is appropriate. There is zero reason they should change @names just because someone feels all warm and fuzzy about a different name.
Zos already provided the ignore function to handle harrasment OP discusses though I expect in extreme circumstances Zos would comply. I don't see OP describing extreme circumstances of harassment.0 -

If there really are extenuating circumstances then explain them in a ticket and I don't doubt it will be done, otherwise it's just a case of people being careless when they create the UserID or seeking to escape their own reputation, neither of which I have any sympathy for.0
