Does charged work with poisons?

The charged trait reads "increase status effect chance by 200%" so if I put a poison in my charged bow, would it always apply said poison when I attack?

    It does
For a poisoned weapon enchant the proc chance is 20% (like elemental enchants)
If you use a Charged weapon that becomes 60%.
    The normal 100% on 20% + 200% on 20% gives a total of 300% on 20% = 3*20% = 60%.

Take note that the 7 DOT ticks "Poisoned" that are procced from your first hit "Poisoned Weapon" come each 2 seconds for a total duration of 12.5 seconds, which is also the Cooldown of the secondary effect.
So if your next "Poisoned Weapon" fires while that Cooldown is stil busy, you get no extra DOT and you do not refresh your 7 tick DOT.

"I still do not understand why I followed the advice of Captain Rana to bring the villagers of Bleakrock into safety. We should have fought for our village and not have backed down, with our tail between our legs. Now my home village is in shambles, the houses burning, the invaders feasting.I swear every day to Shor that after Molag Bal has been defeated, I will hunt down the invaders and restore peace in Bleakrock and drink my mead with my friends at the market place".PC-EU

Thanks for the reply. But, I'm not talking about a poison enchant. I'm talking bout putting a crafted poison, let's say the major defile one, on my charged maelstrom bow. Will the 200% charged make the poison now have a 60% process rate?

Never tested with a Defile Poison.
But from testing with Damage Health Poisons there was no increase to fire the Poison with Charged.
    It stayed 20%.

The disease enchant procs minor defile. The poison enchant procs a small damage over time. They should work with charged but they wouldn't be that effective. Stick with precise.

I figured, that charged would actually be a nice damage trait when used with a destruction staff.
It took only a few tests to come to the conclusion, that it's the worst trait together with Decicive or how this Ult trait is called.

The only use for charged I can think of is lightning staff with shock enchant on mDK. You get that power lash synergy all day long.

So all the charged weapons I've got from vma are literally 100% useless?

That's some great ZoS logic right there!

How did you make 5 times in a row the Flame Lash without any visible magicka drain from your resources, and even with magicka regen actually? :)

If I recall correctly, the synergy attack with flame lash doesn't cost any magicka. So if you can keep the target off balance, which is easy to do with the lightning destruction staff and wall of elements, you can keep spamming your skill for no additional magicka cost.

Would Charged work with the chance to proc bleed on an axe with the dual wield or 2h skill lines? Just curious.

    no

That is incorrect. I've had other forum posters confirm it works on axe bleeds in other posts
