Then surely you support removing the existing options, too. After all, nowadays if someone says "I agree" and leaves it at that, the fact they agree in general is not the issue. It's the simple fact they say "I agree" without stating a reason that is trollsome and non-constructive.
Wrong. Saying you agree means you support what they say and therefore do not need to state a reason why, unless you wish only to partially agree. Saying you DISagree though means you should point out why and voice your opinion on the matter in order to be constructive.

That's quite the double standard you support there. It's almost like you want to stifle dissenting opinion, or something.

Then surely you can articulate why you agree. Often, that's far more important than what the person you're agreeing with actually said.

I tried to turn this into a happy thread with animal pictures and everything, but no, you must keep trying to make some kind of progress in this discussion. Bah I'll just go back under my rock and come out when things look safe again.

By the same token then, just saying you disagree means in general, you disagree with the whole issue and nothing more need be said, but if you only partially disagree, you should post why you disagree with the portions you disagree with...UltimaJoe777 wrote: »UltimaJoe777 wrote: »Nowadays if someone says "I disagree" and leaves it at that, the fact they disagree in general is not the issue. @Milvan
Did someone just finish a course in Marxian Political Theory and Practice? (Although, you do have a couple Anarchists in there).
