About Stamina Recovery

I am going to jump straight into the issue, as I don't believe race or class affects what my issue is, here it goes:

My character has 1754 stamina recovery, and I am wearing jewellery which is robust and enchanted to add 144 stamina recovery, however, if I remove 1 ring, my recovery drops to 1488. Why is this? surely you deduct the 144 from 1754 (which makes 1610) so why am I losing so much more? Its probably worth mentioning that the jewellery is part of a set, but the set in question doesn't add any extra stamina recovery if you have 2-3 or more pieces equipped.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue? I've always wondered why it does this

Many thanks :)

Multipliers also apply to Stam regen enchants.

Champion point passive increasing stamina recovery by a percentage. Racial increasing stamina recovery as a percentage.

Champion point passive and medium armor stam regen % passives I guess?

The starting point is 144, but this figure will be affected by your passives and champion points in stamina recovery, so that 144 is actually worth a lot more.

It all makes sense now, that's a detail I totally didn't look into, the fact that my passives make it worth more. Thanks a lot guys, I think that's what I needed. ZOS can close this thread now :)

I've noticed recently while switching some armor enchantments from max stamina to Prismatic (all 3 resources) that once
I apply them, my magic recovery actually increases microscopically, so I think the size of your resource pool has some kind of
tiny additive effect on that resources regen. It seems as though around a 1 percent increase to max magic caused a comparable
increase to magic recover (I think it went from 798 to 807 or something close to it. So taking off a robust ring would have
not only cost you the 144, but also some percentage of the decrease in the resource that occured as a result of the ring's removal.
If the set bonus was also stamina, it would have doubled the effect.

The game has also had a history of glitched jewelry that somehow retain's it's initial enchantment even after a higher level enchantment of the same type was crafted and equipped to replace it. It happened to me once back at the first of the year
    on my agility jewelry.

It had been essentially doubling my weapon damage enchantment.
