Do you have secret farming spots or go to places that always yield something valuable?

I am just curious if you have a secret place you like to farm and don't tell anyone about? I have several that I've found and they are a really good supply of gold for me at the moment. Keep in mind I haven't explored the entire world yet, I'm only level 41 and I've done every quest in each zone I've been to so I tend to uncover and explore every inch of a map. I have done Kenarthi's Roost, Auridon, Grahtwood, Greenshade and now I'm about halfway done with Malabal Tor quests.

I found a spot on a beach in my travels that has 4-5 Runestone spawns in one little area. I can log in and loot them, go back in 10 minutes and at least 2 have already respawned. Another area I found has 2 ships out in the water and they are not too far apart. Both ships spawn a Thieves Trove but it's pretty well hidden on one of them, you can't see it from shore. I usually log out near them and when I log in about 90% of the time they are both up and even if not both are there, usually one is. I just got another purple nightmothers pauldron a few minutes ago out of one. I don't wear that set but they sell pretty fast. Also get a lot of pardon edicts and other sellables plus the gold. I can play for a couple of hours and go back there to log out and usually at least one has spawned there again.
Another reason I like to log there is because near one of them is a heavy sack and then just a little ways away through the woods there are 3 more heavy sacks. It takes me about 1.5 minutes to hit 4 heavy sacks and the trove location. Again, nothing to get rich off of but always sellable items for easy peasy gold.

Another place I go to has 4 huts and I have got some really great recipes out of them. I visit them about twice a day and I get at least 2 green recipes and one blue per day, I've also got about 3 purple recipes since I started hitting them. Some nice stolen stuff to sell as well in the containers, usually at least 500 gold worth of stuff for a 2 minute run, not counting the recipes. I sell green recipes for 480 gold each and they always sell fast. Blues I sell for 900 and purples for 1500. Sold all I have gotten so far.

I'm sure others have great spots just curious to see if you have a fav spot and what you like to farm there. You don't have to give locations, I know people like to keep their areas to themselves. I'm sure there are better farm areas but like I said, I haven't had a chance to explore all of the game yet. I'm taking my sweet time leveling up and doing all the quests. I also loot every container since I started so my crafting bag is bulging with thousands of mats :)

Not really a secret but Hews Bane is awsome! I farm it every time im on for 30 mins before i do any quests i get usually between 2 and 5 kuta every time and so many mats. When i break the mats down i get loads of yellow too. Not to mention the amount of treasure chests i find.

Also thieves troves spawn in 4 areas all the time and almost always get a purple item from enemy drops. I love Hews Bane :)

I have a favorite fishing spot when I'm trying to stack my guild trader with Perfect Roe.

Well if you're out to make gold: farming raw mats is valuable. Say you farm craglorn, nirncrux is valuable and other mats worth a bit too

Rubedo scraps farming gives decent money. Worth about 20k a stack plus anything you get from refinement.

Imperial city; farming tel var to buy stuff and sell for gold. Or farming for willpower, agility jewellery (mainly rings with arcane willpower and robust agility).

Daily writs are worth doing. Get decent gold and also other valuable items.

There's more but those are some simple methods. Also as you said killing and stealing stuff to launder especially in the right area can give good gold.

Pretty much the same for me - Hew's Bane is awesome. And not just for farming, I love the whole scenery of it - it has some similarities with the formations of the great escarpment in south africa (more the northern part though, towards the border to Zimbabwe), even Hew's Bane is overall more arid. I just climbed to one of the highest locations in Hew's Bane, when I finally got a real impression what this zone looks like and how the larger scale rock formations look like - I just love the landscape there and it's multi-level design even outside of Abah's landing.

Not exactly secret but I've always found scarp keep in wrothgar good for a stealing run, 10 minutes, 50 items, 3-5k plus I've got a fair few purple motifs that can be sold for a decent amount.

I've found a decent spot for getting a few nirnroots as well (I tend to use more on writs than I pick up with general play so this has helped me top up when my supplies get low). I'm not sharing this one though

That is not just a feeling, it really gets quite cold in a desert environment at night - fridge temperatures even, even it might be around 45-50°C during the day. So if you feel cold there, this is quite realistically imagined then.

If you have access to the TG DLC you have automatically access to the thief troves as well without to even have been to Hew's Bane or started the TG quest line. Those troves can be found pretty much everywhere - they have the same blueish glow as lore-books have and a characteristic buzzing sound to them, so you can even find them using your ears.

There's a couple places i visit in Wrothgar anytime i'm collecting the writ maps - nice little spots with a heavy sack, treasure chest and a TG trove all in one cozy corner. Even though i'm not always lucky to have them all spawned, i still visit them every time i'm in the area.
Skye Cloude - Sorc DPS, Master Crafter. Main, the bestest
Lae Lenne - Templar Healer Trial grade.
Dromede - Stamina Nightblade, she's a newb and doesn't know what she's doing
V'oghatta - Stamplar pretending to be a tank
Ulville Thonvella - aspiring Fire Mage, be careful around her fire sticks!
Dromedaris - lost and not found. Named after a shoe, what else can you expect from her? A proper tank in her wildest dreams
Swims-Naked - too pretty to grind, too silly to quest.
Sun Flair - Dunmer Templar that can't spell for life. To bad she's too broke to afford a name change... Well, at least she's pretty...
