My parents have one. It's impressive but too pricey for me. I'll just have theirs when they upgrade again xD

Nice. It must looking amazing at 4k. I remember upgrading from 1080p to 1440p (2k) and that was quite a difference.

I still prefer 1440p with 144hz, gsync, and frame rates above 60fps.

I've played this game at 1080, 1440, and 4k. While I think the game looks great in 4k, I really do believe that the sweet spot is 1440p. Give serious consideration to checking out the G-sync 1440p options. I've started playing on an Acer X34 which doesn't do 144hz, but it does have G-sync and is a 3440x1440p ultrawide with a slight curve. It's just killer and still gets frame rates up to 100 on my laptop. Though my laptop is pretty damn good, it would just get crushed with a 4k monitor.

yes... there are other options and i will be trying them out. i was just struck by the depth and richness of the visuals with 4k. get a steady 60 fps.... which is ok for just running around on a sub lvl50. but i will be looking at the g-sync 1440p soon.

Have you tried Ultra Real Lighting and Colors sweetFX preset? It's pretty good.

If you like your game to look like it's made of candy :)

I for one prefer the "washed out" colours over the insanely high saturation of these mods. You posted a screenshot of Alik'r on some thread I was participating in - the sand was bright yellow and the rocks had zero detail because of the excessive colour saturation:

I know this is a matter of personal taste but seriously, not looking like a cartoon is one of the things ESO actually pulled off 100% right in my opinion. That said, since it's a mod/shader/whatever and nobody is forced to use it, more power to people exploring other options :)
