I just quoted this because I also think that heavy armor is heavily oriented towards stamina users which makes me sad. There are few heavy armor sets that provide 2, 3, 4 set bonuses towards magicka users (Elf Bane I guess is best despite it's terrible 5 piece), most of the rest are stamina or pure health oriented. I've tried Leeching Plate, and my takeaway was that the combined low proc chance, small AoE when procced, and Battle Spirit debuffed damage/healing made it inviable for PvP. I've been interested in the Aspect of Mazzatun set (30% life procs health/magicka/stamina you mentioned), but again am cautious due to battle spirit debuff.

So many potentially interesting sets are subpar to terrible now in PvP due to their 5 piece unique triggers being affected by Battle Spirit debuff and/or low proc chances:
I was actually going to make a list of all the 5 piece bonuses that are heavily diminished in effectiveness due to battle spirit debuff, but the list is insanely long. I'm just going to say that there is a reason that PvP sets have very high heal/damage values for unique 5 piece bonuses (Vicious death ~17k damage, phoenix ~17k heal, etc.).

/Agree on all of this. I've tried searching for decent stat magicka plate. Unless it's crafted, Elf Bane really is the only choice. Probably why so many DK's are stam based. Probably why so many say magicka DK's need dps buffing for pvp. It's maybe not the skills as much as there aren't many options of armor to pair it up with? All the newer sets now have poison, disease, defensive procs...All of which suit Stam better.

Been saying it for awhile, need PvP only gear, that ONLY works in PvP, with PvP related effects/procs etc. =/ (oh, in stam and magicka types as well)

I'm not asking to nerf everything that gives survivability. If you actually read the post maybe you would understand the set also gives damage and makes you tanky. It's the FOTM set for stamina builds and is just OP in general. We might as well just remove all the sets that aren't FOTM because that's what the game has come down to.

It's funny how you went from "Use this set on your Stam DK" to "Nerf this set because everyone has found out that it's a decent set" just because something becomes FOTM doesn't mean it needs a nerf, maybe a slight adjustment but knowing ZOS they'll make it useless.

I told you to use it on your stamina DK because it's the best set for a stamina build in the game. My opinion has not changed on the set, but now that it is popular it made me realize how big of a deal it is if you aren't using this set. It needs a nerf because it is the best set for stamina builds currently, when something becomes "the best" it needs to be toned down so other sets are just as viable. Heavy armor is good, it's to good with black rose.

No, it's not but gives a lot of resources back with constitution passive so you can stack more damage with less regen. I'm not sure of the agenda here still but I think it's just OP is bored and wanted attention, which he has succeeded in.

Makes sense but in my opinion ravager, dreugh king, or reactive is a bit better since those sets give a bit more utility and damage while Black Rose is leaning more towards a sustain tank.

Also we should play again some time I'm tired of running solo all the time.

Can't go around saying that. You'll trigger all of the Heavy Armor users because it hints at how Heavy Armor is overperforming. Meta doesn't become meta for a reason people. Think a bit more on it!

If 95% of Magicka classes are Templars this patch, which Magicka Class might be overperforming and need to be toned down a bit? Obviously Magicka DKs, right....

They made the heavy armour passives competitive with the medium and light armour passives but when you throw the much higher base resistances of heavy armour pieces into the equation it starts to become obvious why heavy armour is so strong right now.

Would be nice if they could look at heavy armour as a whole instead of nerfing an interesting set.

Actually, replace Agility and mael by Viper x5 and you can get kills much more easily. You can use only heavy attacks and it'll still proc for big ass numbers.

VS

Weapon damage x1.5
Max stamina x1.5
Max health x1

Can even play with the monster set a bit, between Veli, Malu and BS.

SRIBES was right , it's the new fotm an every nub is wearing a set now . People are complaining about cheating and some of it is they just don't know how this IC set works and some of it probably is cheating . Anyways it needs tuning after heavy armor changes .

It's a very strong set but mainly when outnumbered in solo and small scale. It's not the best set for everything, there are better alternatives for large scale pvp.
